Right on, endur0 could very well be calmag or something else it was lacking in bloom, not too familiar with your super soil, I just know that it is working like a charm for you! I would expect that if it was calmag you probably would have seen earlier signs of it though?

Haha, totally agree about precautions for future grows! K-train is supposed to be trainwreck x kush right? When I grew out my 3 Kings (also a kush crossed but crossed with sour d) which sounds like they could share some similar characteristics based on their genetics, mine started doing the same thing just on the main colas as they got within a couple weeks of being done. Not saying that's the answer but maybe something to consider? Is it happening on any other of your strains?

well the other strains were harvested early but they werent as bad yellow wise(the chemdog) But I am pretty high from smoking the K-train just now(my most recent harvest after the 2 chemdogs) And it wasnt quite ready... so I am not going to wait too long. I fucked up, I am pretty sure they ran out of food, I mean its not like I am using the exact subcool recipe, I just made my own, and to be honest, I have no idea what I am doing, but learning. If my soil is weaker I just gotta put a higher ratio of supersoil in the container, I have a few going atm with more hot soil. I will use cal mag in small amounts for a little while on half of them maybe (if I can remember) But I dont think its strain related no . I will not grow this strain again (not that its not good just not good enough). They did get plain water the whole time so overall the yield will be great.

Sorry I jumped the gun on my last post, I said I will not grow this strain again, meanwhile I have 2 that are just starting to flower:roll:... we'll see how they turn I guess. Also have to wait until I smoke the other 2 K-trains that are all yellow and crispy, the buds on them are starting to look very good.

The room:

I will harvest within 2 days the trichs are milky on both k-trains and it really is time to reorganise the room because the next yield will be greatly affected otherwise. I got the light at like 40'' away from the new comers and they are almost all starting to flower (had to pull a couple males out)

Samplers so that I can taste them and harvest them all at once

Now I just hope I can tea them properly so that they dont go all yellow too soon like the k-trains. I am very happy with this garden some of the plants have the most frost I have ever seen, I did my best with the camera but I am not the photographer in the family!!! I will get my woman to take some pics someday. Enjoy for now!!

Happy growing!!

I'd be extremely happy with a garden like that. Hell I'd be happy to get one plant to look like any one of yours.

THANKS!!

I harvested the last k-train this morning. very sticky and stinky, the best so far (on par with the first chmdog I harvested but closer to being ready).

So I still have the Acapulco Gold, which won't be harvested for another 40+days so I won't count it in the total for this run. I have another small plant that will be ready within 2 weeks that I will count in the total. I am close to 5 oz out of the last 2 k=trains but more like 4.5 oz of nicer nugs.

6 oz from the 2 chemdogs
6+ oz from the 3 k-trains
About 1 oz from the last plant I am guessing...

So about 13 oz, not too shabby... Overall it was a good grow, pretty quick, everything went well considering I wasnt home a lot for most of the grow.

I wonder if I ever walked into my room with pollen on me or something. Each plant so far had hermied slitghly (different strains too)mostly on the lower buds and very small amount of seeds And unfortunately I discovered an almost mature seed on the Acapulco Gold which is weird coze its not even halfway through budding. So I am thinking either I walked in the room with pollen one day, I also had a potential light leak that will be fix shortly. I am thinking it could also be from intensive training early flowering that might have caused this. (if thats the case this upcoming batch will come out the same way I have been tough on them)

So anyway I moved the acapulco gold, it doesnt need to be in a prime location anymore, it will still do well only I didnt like the seed I saw this morning. I lowered the light, put the 10 gallons with 3 tga right in the middle of it all (1 female so far,... I almost hope the other 2 turn male, not enough food for 2 huge plants but we will see, I will be home to feed this time as well.) The one plant thats about to be done is not getting much light anymore but all the new comers should be exploding with growth within 2 weeks. So thats that.

I am much more excited with the plants in the tent right now.

I will upload pics tonight, got lazy and didnt take any pics of the harvest yet sorry...

After that I am done with this next 12/12 run (around mid october) I think I might give another go at scrogging and try to do a run for the yield in the room, keeping the tent 12/12 from seed.

If I wasnt worry about high humidity in my basement 12/12 sog would be the way to go but since I grow in supersoil I cannot do it using small containers. I just gotta have less soil in the room than what I have atm, but not less soil per plant. I'll see how this next run goes ... Even in the tent, with the right genetic I am sure I could fill the tent with 1 plant in a 15gallon container 12/12 from seed

I dont think 12/12 from seed really gives you enough time to do a scrog though

somehow I missed your post! I assume you meant 1 teaspoon per gallon right?

Just like anything, there are a lot of pros and cons with 12/12 from seed. One big down though is sometimes you get bad seeds and spend too much time and effort on them, unlike growing from clone where you know you have a strong plant, but you wouldn want to do 12/12 from clone, shorter the veg with clones and the more you run the risk of not having a proper root structure for the size of the plant and the roots will be trying to catch up all along, thats the way I see it anyway.

Timing is really important too as I have come to realise. I had to wait a little too long to harvest the previous run and the newcomers were not getting sufficient amount of light and I am worry that they will not be stretching enough now.

Some strains dont like 12/12 from seed, Chemos being one of them, one of my favorite strain to smoke but I can never get it to grow big. I think the god's treat will be doing the same thing so really now my hopes are on the Agent Orange, if the other 2 in the container turn out to be male I will try and grow a 4+oz plant, she will be getting most of the light. I will try and do better with the 2 k-trains but they had a tougher start, its all in the buds though and they are just starting.

The nicest thing about 12/12 though is I just harvested and I got a bunch of plants already starting to bud:bigjoint:

Yo Endo, home depot has bokashi. $19.99 for 600 gram bag. Thats the weight it said on the bag. I just grabbed super soil enriched compost from home depot too. $5.97 for 2 cu ft. One of my friends uses that compost for his vegetable garden and loves it. So I'm giving it a try. Nearest hydro shop to me sells AF compost for $17 for 0.5 cu ft. I have to travel much further to get a better deal. Home depot is 2 min away. I even saw coco blocks or bricks or what ever at home deps too. Cheap. Now if they carried roots organic and all the super soil ingredients. That would be the spot.

Yo thanks Hyroot, good to know about the bokashi! so far I have been making my own and you really dont need a lot of it. Even one of the pioneer of recycled supersoil says to be careful. I think you can use that shit in your compost tea to get it going quicker as well. Now, I am just thinking, 20$is really expensive for 600grams by the way, I just went to the grocery and I think it cost me around the same price to make 4lbs, if I was to find a good bulk supplier for the wheat bran it would be almost free!! Another thing too is I doubt they use organic wheat bran, depending how fussy you are, I am fussy!!

Another good thing at home depot that I bought 2 days ago for my veggie garden is a bag of locally made fish compost for 5.97, they call it Sea Soil and I think I will go back for more to use in my supersoil next, I doubt they would have it at your home depot though unless you live close to where I live!!

Thanks for the infos keep em coming everyone, lets grow the best cheapest dank!!

Yo I took that compost back. On the scotts website it said do not use in container pots. Maybe because of the trace npk's. I didn't want to chance anything going wrong. I got some other called eco scraps. Compost made from fruits n veggies. Same price too, but a 1 cu ft. I also grabbed some AF compost. Talked the girl down to $10 at the hydro shop. Eco scraps also has a potting soil. I guess it would be vegan too. I don't remember if you were the one looking for vegan soil or not... No fish compost either. I looked and asked. They said they could special order it though.

I ordered from home depot online. Some stuff called Ringer Compost Plus for $6.99 It's basically the same thing as bokashi and its 2 lbs too.

I was trying to get some more shots of the trichs last night but the light was on and it makes it almost impossible. I should get the tripod in there too, next time.

I cannot wait to harvest some of those babies, 2 plants that are SO frosty, one very low yielder and a medium yielder. I mean everything is frosty and on par with the best I have done so far but yeah those 2 plants are something else.

The one disappointment in the tent is the berry bomb, and unless I got the indicas seeds mixed with the sativas, this berry bomb is supposed to be like a 42-50 days strain and its the only plant in the tent without brown hairs atm.

The plant in the middle is going to be the heavy yielder, (you would think obviously its in the middle...) but I am sure glad I didnt put a low yielding strain in the middle coze I still want to hit some good numbers. Oh and the smell of her is to die for, she just gotta pack some more trichs and I ll be a happier camper!! This grow is going to be a very happy balance between premium bomb buds and decent weight.

As usual, the chemos stayed small (no pics), some of the best Chemos I have grown so far and they appear to be almost ready! Chemos really dont seem to like 12/12 from seed but since I like it so much it won't stop me from growing it every now and then.

In the future I would like to experiment with vegan supersoil but I think I would need even bigger container. And it won't be for a while I cannot afford to fail right now :) Mind you I dont think sea stuff will ever be removed from my ingredients, only blood meal (which is in very small amounts anyway) and a few others that dont come to my mind atm.

Say Enduro if I may ask have you ever heard of or Know anyone that tried Dr. Earth potting soil? I know you are a big fan of Super Soil and all with it being organic, I'm looking for something close with out all the cost and time to make some SS. I'm a big time compost user but somehow I got bugs so I'm not going to use it for my next grow.
