Nah, it's probably from tying the buds down, lst job, that the grower didn't fully remove. The grower probably tied them down early in flowering and the buds grew over the string. Most people hang their buds by the end of the stem. Not in or on the bud.

I've done that so many times. Good job on cloning the broken branches. Just sit back and relax the plant will still bud. It might take a day or two to get growing again since there was some shock. Or the break might've not affected anything at all.
