I just got mine on Wednesday. So far I start at about 5 to 5 1/2 with the first bag and then increase it with each bag untill the weed is used up. I end up at about 8.

Yes you are probably right that 15 gallons is enough for a 5 gallon pot. When I put my plants under the faucet and go do something else, they get much more that 15 gallons. I was also showing the difference between watering and flushing to the poster who asked "why not water them all the time...

I do water with the correct ph. Flushing is when you pour large amounts of water through your soil to remove toxic fertilizer build up in the soil. When flushing, one would expect to pour 25 to 50 gallons of water through 5 gallons of soil.

My tap water is about 7.3 PH. Since this is a little too high, after I flush my plants with tap water should I then water them water that has a lower ph??? Thanks:peace:

With a little more information, we should be able to point you in the right direction. How often do you water? Are you ph'ing your water? Are you giving it nutes? What kind of soil? What kind of lights? Whats the temp? How old is the plant?

I couldn't agree with you guys more. I focus on what I am doing much better with a little ganga. I do alot of woodworking, and in the past I would waste so much time worrying about screwing up. I would stand there and look at what I was making and think ten steps ahead and worry about...
