I usually make sure to get thicker pieces. I've had several tubes that have bounced off my cement floor, but so far a piece that's impressed me has been the Helix. It's come out of my hand while cleaning or been knocked off desk at a pretty high speed and simply bounced several times.

The downstems on these are weak-sauce and break all the time. A fly could fart and it might break. That being said, it's like $25-$40 for a replacement stem. Also, the Tsunami works like a really big, nice Helix dry. I've used mine that way a good bit while waiting to pick up a new downstem...
