a bulb that is clear (not frosted) is recommended. The only bulb in my house was frosted one. i know its best clear because there is less argon, and its less argon to remove with salt. My bulb wasn't clear and i filled it with salt and did that step twice, then rinsed it with rubbing...

yo im starting a cfl party cup grow like you did. i gotta say that plant looks healthy as fuck.what soil did you use. i picked up some scotts organic potting mix, and im thinking of mixing that with perlite. 3/4 scotts, 1/4 perlite. waht did u use?

ok and is mg organix mixed with perilite... 3/4 mg 1/4 perilite good to start me seeds in? or what should i start them in. the only places i have to go to are home depot and loews.

i think my loews has that. do i need to mix it with anything, or just put it in my cup, and put my germanized seed in there?

the box is really small, but im only growing one plant for now. its maybe 3 square feet but its rectangular, so 2 feet wide. and maybe 2.5 feet tall, (its two plastic bins stacked). but i cant eventually make it taller if the plant grows that tall.

Yo i had another thread but it was getting long, and not everyone there was using cfls and i wanted to ask some CFL people for their advice. i just got my grow box setup its two plastic bins and theres mylar-like material lining them and an aluminum hood ontop. i have 6 23 w 6500k CFL bulbs...

ive just got an aluminum dome piece i can use as a hood, ill post some pics below. then for reflectors i saw these things u put in cars to reflect sunlight away from the interior of the car. i bought one since there was no mylar wrap i could find, and im thinking about cutting it up into smaller...

what soil should i use ive heard lots of bad things about mg being fiilled with chemicals and not an organic growing soil.

thanks. yea i got a quad of some no name dank that had a a couple seeds in it. im gonna try that, the seeds dont look cracked.i just picked up a quad of blackberry k i would love to grow but it had no seeds from any of the buds their so dense. oh well. what computer exhaust fan are you using...

okay. i got 6 23watt 6500kb bulbs wiht the outlet socket adapters that allow me to plug them right into a socket. will this work fine? and what do you recommend for a hood will a aluminum tray flipped over and hung from the ceiling work?

thanks. im thinking about 5-6 23 Watt bulbs,which would generate 115-138watts for my one plant. or should i get 3-4 42 watt bulbs? growingforthegold is that setup really necessary for only one plant, i dont think i have the materials to make that

where did you get the devide the cfls all attach to
