Currently I am 3 weeks into flowering with 400 Watt MH. I just added in 2 100 watt HPS into the flowering room.
Is this good or bad?
Should I go with one or other?
I also put these hps lights to the sides so it gives the undercanopy buds more light. Is this the right thing to do?
That is an amazing CFL grow!. At Lowes and home depot they have 65 watt CFL in the home security and flood lighting section. the ones I saw were around 30 bucks but you would have to by a different spectrum bulb
I have been moving my plants up on a shelf on the side of my 400 watt MH lamp. Three weeks into flowering. After 4 days some of the leaves started to fold so I immedietly moved them. The leaves are starting to open up. Did I permeantly kill the leaves or will they be good?

I have planted 10 seedlings using random seeds that supposedly were old. about four of them grew up with no leaves and then just kinked over and died. Several others came out with there initial two leaves and the the leaves fell off and the stems broke clean off? what happened?

These are completes with bulb and ballast included. The bulbs are physically clear and what not but the light they are emmitting is amber according to the specs on the box. Is that what you are talking about
I just found 4 100 watt hps lamps and bulbs at lowes for 15 dollars each. I bought all and am hoping to use them in my grow. They came with amber bulbs. Are these useable for growing or do I need to get a new bulb?
Defintely use the seperate room technique above. Throw your clowns or seeds under the 400 watt and then transfer to the 1000 watt to flower. Figure out a good technique and remember time is of the essence
