They told me at the local hydro store that the ozone would kill my tomatoes if it were in the same room. It can also have potentially harmful effects on humans, especially is you are predisposed to asthma or bronchitis. I have one in my basement because that's where my A/C unit is venting...
Cool thanks Phelps!
Yeah he said that they look great but I was just worried about losing yield because they weren't getting the potassium and phosphorus for those couple weeks. I'm about to flush them when I get back this weekend and harvest the next week...
My roomie is taking care of my plants and for the last two weeks he has been giving them Cal-Mag, which is a 2-0-0 supplement instead of the CNS17 Ripe 1-5-4 that I was giving it before. IT was weeks 5-7 of flowering and I'm worried about them but he says they look fine. He fed them with the...
the tea that i get at the hydro store needs to be diluted 50 to 1. i put about 80mL in my one gallon jug. I add it with the nutrients every other feeding. Apparently it helps to pre-digest a lot of them. Not sure if this helps, or if your tea is different...
I have some plants vegging at 18/6 light schedule, going on a 7am and off at 1am.
I want to start flowering them and I read in Jorge Cervantes' Grow Bible that it is good to give them a solid 36 hours of darkness.
I want to have the lights on during the cool of night for flowering though, so...
Thanks for the help guys.
I have noticed recently that the room has a good bit of negative pressure because the exhaust fan is a huge 12" can fan. I was thinking that I could cut holes in the plastic wall of the room, and lead ducting from outside the grow room (which is spare bedroom) in...
This is something I was looking at...

OK, I see that you recommend the fan blows air onto the lights. I've heard that more air moves through if the fan sucks the air through the lights and blows it out. Any comments on this?
I need to run a power strip, or surge protector that can support a couple of 1000W HPS and a few fans. It also has to have a long cord, at least 20 feet to reach the plug in the next room which has 50 amps.
So I am feeling good about the vibes in the garden these days. The Blackberries have perked up, but some more than others. All of the Bubblegum looks great and I scored 6 more of them yesterday. The GDP is rediculous as usual, what a beast she is!
When they all got dry yesterday I went ahead...
So I need to cover about 25 feet or so from my 50 amp outlet to my two 1000 watt hps lights and accesories. Is it best to run some type of power strip into the room or get long ballast and lamp cords? What equipment would you recommend?
I have an organic grow and I was wondering what type of pH meter to buy to test the water I give my babies. I was also wondering which up and down formulas were the best and most cost effective.
Thanks in advance.
