I Split the Grow Tip without Cutting. Worth the Shock with Pics

that is most likely because your plants are root bound and the pH of your medium is off. the plants look severely nitrogen deficient. you should really think about repotting before you start to flower them. What kind of lighting do you have them under?

    Multi Pot Single Plant?

yeah i know, its the same principal though. you may consider using a side branch to grow your new roots, it would act like a second stem once its rooted.

    Multi Pot Single Plant?

yes its possible, there is an article somewhere on the net. basically you use layering to cause a lower branch to root into a separate pot. seems a bit pointless to me, just put the plant in a larger pot or grow more of them.

so in one of these threads are you going to tell us what you did? https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/432214-split-grow-tip-without-cutting.html the most important part of an experiment being validated is someone else being able to replicate it.

Im hardly on here any more. i try to check my pm's once a day, and maybe answer a few questions. i should have time to do a decent update after we finally plant the garden at ogre's house. between my work schedule and the damn...

to keep a bonsai mom you prune the roots of the plant every few months to rejuvenate them. Here is a guide that is posted on several sites: Bonsai Moms

Mother in Soil, Clones in Hydro?

that will be just fine, you will probably want to start a new mom every few months to keep her from outgrowing your space. you could also keep them as bonsai moms.

when you put them out put them where they will get morning sun until about 10am then give them partial shade the rest of the day. increase their sun exposure by 1 hour every other day for about a week untill they are in full sun.

    Closed System? Please Help!

that makes sense, it was always my assumption too. i think the key is room size. the rooms iv worked in that run CO2 always have night time ventilation, but they weren't quite as large those rooms in the article. if its not to control humidity and if they aren't bringing in fresh O2 why put all...

    Closed System? Please Help!

iv seen systems like the ones described in the article and they still have fresh filtered air coming into the mixing room. the article only covers what they do during the day, perhaps they have found that night ventilation isnt necessary in such a large grow space. there must be a perfect...

    Closed System? Please Help!

what systems have you seen that dont use any outside air? if i could figure out how its done it would solve a ton of ventilation problems. from everything ive seen i think "closed system" is a bit of a misnomer.

    Closed System? Please Help!

the plants dont produce enough O2 at the right times. CO2 is added to not only supply the plants what they need but also to push their metabolism to its limit. i would love to see a system that operates with out any need for outside air. closest i've seen is limited ventilation during the night...
