Anybody tried the Philips LED's? They are 14w at 6500k and put out 1400lm per bulb , and just screw into the e27 fixtures, comparing this to the equivilent CFL which is 24w and 1450lm. The temp is alot lower with the LED . How far off the young plants should you have the LED? Still a good...

I really like T5's , excellent for pictures too. So this is just 6500k globes at 12/12 right? I see some people mix up the spectrums but if you don't need too even better.

Lots of Marijuannas around these parts. I been smoking the leaf of what I thought was giant marijuanna plants for years , then it went into seed and I realised it was a PawPaw tree.

You can buy big 130w actual cfl's , why dont people use a couple of these instead of lots of little ones? Are they still not that bright enough away from the plants?

Cool , well i have my plant trained so that's all good. I see in your link your panels are pretty high up in veg. How high do you have them? In flower right now they are about 15 inch away. My tent is a 2ftx2ftx6ft one.

do they make a 2ft T5 with 55w globes? I cant find any like this. Everything is 28w at best , would it make a massive difference come flowering time or not really? I have Hans panels for side lighting.

Hey ,i have a couple of Hans Panels and jnust wondered if i could also use some cfl for the lower half of the plant as a substitute light? The Hans Panels seem ok but when the plants get a bit bushy you start running into problems. Would cfl's effect the LED effective light footprint overhead?

Is there any disadvantage in growing under full spectrum as opposed to a veg light and a flowering light? I assume thre must be otherwise it just seems like you are making it harder for yourself , dealing with swapping lights. Are yields lower?

only small , 60cmx60cmx140cm , i could go a little bigger but prefer not. I think a 250w HID would be enough in a cool tube.

One of my best grows was from a cardboard box use it as a template for bigger things.
