if your doing 40+lbs often enough you maybe able to find someone to take it off your hands in its basic untrimmed form for a discount? save your energy(& sanity) for the grows!

Man im going crazy trimming around 20+ pounds each 2 months. I bought a Thundervak commercial trimmer and i trim wet buds with it but once dry, buds turn dark and same weed trimmed by hands(wet) finished with a light green good looking why trimmer turn buds darker??? I was thinking about getting a dry buds trimmer, good idea? Can you tell mme mlre about your trimming method if you dont mind??

Nothing beats good ol fashioned trimming when dry with scissors imo.

We had the oiece of shit trommel type trimmer when we would trim wet (lowers/outdoor), but I never liked the outcome. There are what look to be pretty cool dry trimmers out now, but i have zero experience with them. Just a bunch of gossip. Wish i could help you more.

the set up is a standard one
20 plants indoor 10 plants outdoor

outdoor got seeds indoor was good fight with PM but we won
indoor is a 25x25x7.5 building .........my cool tubes can not work here the RH gets to 95% at night (some nights we are in fog banks as 944ft above sealvl) ......so it set up using some 1000w open hoods and some 4 ft t5s (spring time use a vent system 3000cfm from green house...summer fall winter 24k mini split great deal 1100 bucks)

that was even a good run the plants well my auto feed was way to much and they grow to the ceiling we did not account for the stretch factor on the strains with the feed

The new xxl autos get big in the right conditions.

I grow photos and prefer them now. Cannabis connoisseurs aside, auto or photo, they wouldn't know if it was in with photos.

I respect what you do and your grows. Just saying difference of opinion is all. Which one is better is subjective and more of a preference.

Just the fact that autos are crossed with crap makes them crap imo.

Plus, every seed is a dif pheno unless there's breeders making auto beans and somehow are also stabilizing that cross. Still equals crap lol.

I agree there are some crappy breeders. The autos I've grown from reputable breeders have been stable. Potent also.

In the beginning autos were bad. I've said that here. My opinion changes over the last few years.

Sure they are all different phenos. I get what you are saying. I fi to finally went to keeping a few mothers and cutting clones. Uniform performance. You know what you are getting.

In justugh situation the autos make sense. They are hardy plants and work great guerilla plants.

He is growing to sell. It will sell. There are places where good weed is hard to fund or is really expensive. The autos I'm talking about are better than than most of the weed around here.

I get it. I know exactly why you prefer photo. In your circle people want the top shelf stuff. Others just want decent weed to smoke.

I will also say the reason I didn't like autos 5 or so years ago that it was hit and miss. One plant may be fire and another just like it wouldn't even get you high. Most were also dwarf varieties.

There are some good breeders that worked the kinks out. They are bigger, more stable and more potent back then.

They worked them enough that the auto flower trait.

No biggie. What ever floats your boat.

After reading all that I almost wanna give autos a second chance.

Well, my black cherry soda is pretty much a bust- PM set in over the course of ~3 days and fucked up all but the very topmost flowers. I was only able to salvage a couple of ounces that weren't affected. I'm harvesting the Heavy Duty Fruity now and it is clean and smells like Juicy Fruit gum and model airplane fuel

Then again, I've never paid money for seeds.
Clones, yes.
Seeds, no.
Right now I'm revegging Cindy99, and SexBud. Probably take cuttings in 4-6 weeks.
Yeah, my turnaround sucks but I'm not in a hurry. Just finished processing a couple lbs of outdoor weed & I'm burned out.

If you do mephisto genetics is the best I've found so far for autos. I like the xxl autos from dinafem. Sativa dominant like amnesia and blue amnesia xxl. They are great daytime smoke. The xxl autos can get 5-6 foot outside. Possibly bigger.
