Yea. I could. I have a couple of boxes of carbon. The good stuff. I rebuild my filters. The ipower ones are so cheap now its not worth the time to build one. Run it until the carbon needs replacing.

You can even bake your carbon in the oven. I've heard people say you can't do it. I have and k ow for a fact it works. Had the cops show up because of something that happened at the neighbors house. The were standing lime 50 foot from my exhaust.

They are Easy to build though and I have built a few of them. The k you for the info.
One lucky thing about living in 10% humidity, I have been running the same Phresh filter since 2012. Even with some really stinky crops not a whisper gets through.

Phresh makes a great filter. I sourced the carbon they used from an online hydro shop. I bought two 16 pound boxes.

I went to an 8 inch filter in my grow cab. I bought an ipower really cheap. Its lasted about a year so far. I mainly wanted the case. Its built where you can swap the bottom cap and intake around. Its built slightly different than a Phresh. I haven't even had to swap ends. When it finally gives out I will fill it with coconut carbon.

I really like them. When these finally give out I'm just replacing them with new Phresh filters. I really oversized mine as we used charcoal filters on the ventilators in the OR and oversizing the filters made a real difference in negative consequences.

When I started using a carbon filter, I would leave an open bag of charcoal in the garage in case I had to explain the strong charcoal smell in the garage.

But, my mind has always worked in strange ways.
LOL, mine too. I make a dogpoop soup and leave a cup around strategic areas when my plants start stinking. I hide the soup and leave some dog turds(sprayed with mineral oil to stay shiney fresh looking and slow drying) near the cups

I once picked up a dead skunk up the road and walked it in a shovel right beside my house after dark.

Fortunately, we have a lot of skunks here.

Yup, phresh/phat filters are the only ones to use imo. Mostly just phresh nowadays.

I'd let those things get at least 3-4 yrs old and not a worry, back when i used to live next to a bunch of people. Like, 20 lights right next door to you kinda neighborhood lmao. They're great filters.

Well that certainly explains why mine are shot after 2 runs. Humidity blows around here.

There are times I try to burp jars that are 66-67% r/h and when I close them they go up to 68%. Lol.

Lmao!

I don't talk to my one and only neighbor that often, but a few times i have, he mentions a skunk must live nearby! Lmao!

I'm not that paranoid about things anymore here like i would be living in a tightly packed neighborhood. I still have charcoal filters where needed though.
The smell is mostly from the taking down of crops (the stinkiest) and trimming always going on.

But there's always some bible beater walking up to my door and shit. That pisses me off like nothing else! Totally not expecting their visit. The mother fuckers! When I have a package coming, like i do right now, i try and catch them before they come up to my door. Just so shit ain't weird. Got a dude trimming right now.

I have a speakeasy on my front door at this pad.View attachment 4031702You wouldn't even believe the filth that comes out of my mouth through that thing when the Bible beaters try and get me.
Lol. I was dating this divorced MILF once years ago. We had just smoked a joint and 2 nuns from her church came to the door and kinda bullied their way in.

I never saw two more disappointed nuns in my life.
