start a plant from seed or clone. veg until it grows a couple nodes. tie down the bottom 4 branches, sip off the tip, and put it in a cloner. Keep the tip in 24/0 or 18/6, whichever you prefer for vegging, and put the bottom branches you have on 12/12 after they recover from trim.

There seems to be a threshold you have to pass to make a true aeroponic system vs just spraying solution on your roots. real aeroponics makes a fine mist for a high oxygen ratio. If you have 1 pump and 1 nozzle, whats size pump do you need, and what kind of nozzle to get a really fine mist...

I have a metal filing cabinet that is 15" X 19" X 26". I have no door for it. What would you do to turn it into a stealth cab?

Y adapters with bulbs plugged in DO NOT fit in 8.5" round reflectors. questions: How may socket extenders will allow me to squeeze in 2 26w cfls? What about for 2 42w? What about the 10" reflectors, will those work without modification? thanks.

I know you use 12/12 to induce flowering, but once it starts, can you gradually back to 18/6 or 24 to hit it with maximum light?

If you have tons of light and space, I see the point in topping to maximize yield. If you're using a small box and 2 42w cfls to flower, I think growing multiple buds would decrease the quality significantly.
