why can't you just put the seeds in the soil and water them a little bit once a day it seems like germinating with the paper towel method is just adding another step does it serve any purpose?

yea, i will probably get one or two of those fixtures do you think one of those fixtures (and say three 100 watt cfls) would be good for two plants or should each plant get a group of three lights?
