It's been another week and there hasn't been much if any growth I can notice. Trichs are creamy so I was wondering if this is about as far as the plant will go. They are under 6 x 20w 2700k cfl's. Setup is very basic so would you expect much more growth?

After having a look on the internet I think I also have a Sciarid fly problem or more to the point it's larvae in my soil. Any suggestions on removing this pest?

I'm 11 weeks from seed, I've removed the top layer of soil and won't water for some time, Humidity in the grow room is low and it only appeared today.

Also I forgot to mention, it's happening because I put chopped banana peel on the soil because I read this can increase potassium which I figured would help budding, so I suppose it's the banana peel rotting, isn't this a good thing? No idea where the small white insects came from though.

Depending on how many seeds you have bought you could try opening a few and leaving the rest to try themselves, then wait it out and see which sprout. I tried cracking them once but non of the seeds would take even though I could see the plant inside. Even if one grows you can still clone so...

Almost finished flowering a Red Dragon. It was grown alongside a Blue Cheese. It's vegetative stage was really slow to start with but eventually built up some speed and when it went into flowering it shot up, it has matured alot faster than the Blue cheese. Do you think this is ready to harvest, almost 8 weeks flowering. If you think it's still too early would it be ok to take off the top bud to open up more light to the lower buds and then there'd be some bud to try. It's a Red Dragon strain.

Sounds cool, I'm no specialist but won't the baking affect nute levels in the skin, would it be ok to cut up the skin into tiny pieces and add these to the soil?
