Yeah, you just want to make sure you are sucking the unfiltered air thru the filter so you get rid of the smell. Maybe I'm just stoned and reading you wring, LOL! Mine all sits inside the tent: Carbon Filter > Inline Fan > Hood > Vent Out Oh and like chrisbtx said, you want a good fan of course...

Having the filter outside the tent kinda defeats the purpose of having a filter.

And yes, depending on your fluros and the height you want to get the plants, you could most certainly veg with cfl's and then flower under an HPS. I personally use fluros for seedlings, clones, and young plants, then switch to MH for Veg and then HPS for flower. Good luck!

Hey guys, as a tent grower myself, I would probably recommend the 600w - anything bigger (especially in a 4X4) you will most likely battle with heat issues. I run a 400w in a DR120 with absolutely no heat problems whatsoever and I would imagine 600w would be OK too, especially if you plan on...

You've got good soil, now use some Jack's Classic ferts and you'll be good to go.

Well if you don't have a vented hood you can probably just put an inline fan in there sucking air thru a carbon filter and out of the tent (preferably into a different area). Have some passive intake at the bottom and a fan inside to blow around some of the fresh air. You have to get nice cool...

You can plug everything into regular wall sockets. Just like with anything new you plug in, don't overdo it and you'll be fine.

Thanks, just used a little bit of fish emulsion during veg once or twice. They're eating up the Jack's Classic now.

Here are the 3 girls only 12 days later and the tent is filling up quite nicely. They were just put into flower about 5 or 6 days ago (18" for the main plant, 15" for the 2 topped plants). They were growing about an inch a day in veg/early flower and hopefully they will stop stretching here...
