no becuse of the way the bulb is made...the chemicals/metals/gasses that are supposed to be run in a ballast...the bulb needs to be ignited rather than just running current through it. sodium vapor bulbs run very hot to and thats why they are put in mogul sockets rather than just a normal...

you dont need an intake fan*...its called a passive intake. i have one in my cab at the bottom and a couple pc fans at the top. if yuor temps get too hot its allways good to have a fan on intake. and of course the scrubber is for smell. peaced

the little black flying bugs are fungus gnats and they are little bastards. they are caused by over watering. lett your soil dry out and bee dry for a day or two and then once its dry put a nice layer of sand on the top. if that doesnt work ive heard neem oil does but i had a bad problem with...

word man...are you vegging or flowering? that's a cfl you can grow with those...not just one but you know what i mean. when you turn it on is it red-ish or blue-ish?

is it a normal like desk/oscillating fan? or a inline or high velocity fan. i would get a duct muffler if you have the money. or make a tube the size or you fan and line it with foam. that basicly what it is. thats all i can think of peace

sounds like a good plan man...i havent used carbon filters so im not sure about those. but i would have the lights in the highest place possible...im not sure how much room that is going to give you. if you think it wont get to small in there than go for it...ill ccheck back peace
