Well I looked around and it seems the 2 day seminar would be my best option. At least this way I'll be familiar on how to operate a closed loop system and what not. Also pretty reasonable. 300-400 with a certificate. And yes it is a hands on course.

You'll get about the same if you case or if you don't. It has been proven that casing will yield about the same as not casing..

An open flame when lye and naphtha is involved is just asking for trouble. A water bath is much more practical.

Well I managed to shred the bark better then how I received it. Hopefully it works just as well as finer bark.

Well I am using heptane instead of napatha but I assume it would have the same effect.

If I needed 250 ml of naphtha would I just need to use the same amount of heptane and evap like normal?

What are your thoughts on heptane? I have read both heptane and naphtha both pull "more pure product".

hmm. Have you heard of using coleman fuel or would that leave unwanted residue?
