nice grow put your 5 gallon in a tote and put 5or6 inches of water and put your ice bottle in there i cant imagine the roots like touching that cold bottle......my two cents

i notice when i change my res and adjust ph to 5.8 i will check in about 3 hours and it rises quite a bit but then i adjust and she stays low.when your plant is bigger and has lots of roots it is normal for your ph to rise as the plant eats

it would be better if you place your bucket into a little tote then add cold water and your frozen bottle. bottled ice directly on roots is not good but i am fairly new someone will chime in.

net pot about a half inch to inch away from water just hand feed until you see roots then you will be ok the bubbling water also keeps bottom wet

and when i change res and set ph i check in about 4 hours and it is usually back up to 6.1 or 6.2 but when i adjust then it will stay down and rise normally

i set mine at 5.5 let it drift to 6.0 then back down check it out in dwc section

i think the ph should be a little lower like 5.5, 5.8 but im a rook so maybe someone else can chime in

all i used to get rid of slime was some regenaroot and wiltguard by cx hydroponics i used about 8 drops in my 14l res of superthrive and u must be talkin about my dirty room
