i dont really rate 1k hps's unless on a big grow. 600w are my weapon of choice, you get great results. your lamp should be about 12" off the top of your plants, measure it with a piece of string hangging off your lamp, this should stop the stretching but like you say its hard stopping a 1k...

you have to root your clones but yes you can put ROOTED clones straight in to flower inspite of size. the mother should be atleast 8weeks old but, if your taking cuttings off a flowering plant they will root quicker but, need to be reverted back into veg to start the flowering cycle again. if...
