Thanks, it does actually say 240v on the ballast duh, not 400v .I thought the dimlux fixtures were all 400v. I bought it with a dimlux 750w 400v dxo bulb.

Hi, probably a stupid question but can a normal 240v metal halide bulb be used in a dimlux 400v ballast? Been looking everywhere and unable to find a 400v one. I'm in the uk

Just nipped round to look at mates grow and spotted a male or hermie amongst 8 plants he has in a 8x4. Plants exactly 3 weeks in flower, is it worthwhile carrying on flowering the rest, or are they likely pollinated.

Just checked my tent and light was on 5 hour into dark period, one 15 minute segment was left on. This has probably been like this for 2 weeks,plant is 5 weeks in flower. Seems to be bulking up nicely but have never grown strain before pineapple express. Anyone guess likely consequences of this...

Thanks bud, I've just upgraded from a 1m2 tent with 4 highlight boards and dimming them. Wanted to keep with some far red and uv while getting away from plugs and cables everywhere. Will probably go with the 700s and dim as will be getting the master controller aswell.

Anyone care to comment on these leds looking for 2 of the 700 or 510w in a 8x4. Thought 700s would be to much but specs say not.

i have the hydrofarm you'll find u have to resolder the connections after a week or 2 but i couldn't b without now

tried raising temps, infared lamps different spectrums. as soon as i take them out put in cmh my plants respond with in 2 or 3 days. not doubting theres a knack to using them but after 18 months had enough.

i'm just using my leds as supplement to hps and cmh now, learnt the hard way, lots of cash and time wasted.

don't think its not feeding enough pal i really don't. think its all to do with humidity and vpd and i suppose me adding heat lamps is just lowering humidity. hopefully adding propagators will help. i no its all about getting environment right but with white led its very difficult for any...

thank you. iv'e heard alot about raising temps and put various reptile lamps and heat mats in to raise em with slightly better results. i'm trying clones in propagators now with 80% odd humidity. and 80 plus temps early thoughts are good after a couple of days. will say again have no problems at...
