duuude lol. im jealous of the hps. is it wayyy hotter than the cfls or what? tell me the scoop, im thinking about one for the flower cab for another light.
Dude the hps is like fucking STEROIDS lol. The ballst is pretty hot to the touch of hand, but really isnt radiating alot of heat. BUT, the bulb itself, gets pretty hot I cant lie. But it is deff controlable. I moved my bigger fan in, and although it pushes my plant around a good bit, not too much to hurt, even helps a bit. And by doing that and just keeping my air in my house on, the temps havent gotten past 85-86 degrees in there with light on. It really hasnt gotten real cold down here in Louisiana, but when it does, that will help even more. She grew taller and started slightly getting heat burned on a few top leaves, so I moved the light from 1 foot to around 1 foot and half. Just trying to get a feel for the perfect distance. Dude how tall is your biggest lady? Mine is already about 11 inches to a foot, ill measure again when lights come back on. Do you think I should add my cfl's in there too light pictured below (she is on dark time used flash with camera on my phone. Or just run the hps by itself?? Here is pic of the set up. Thanks again buddy, your WHOLE garden looks amazing!!! Keep up the good work!! : )

that hps is more than enough. but if you can keep the cfl's on with it, I would say the more the merrier for sure hahaha. Im going to see if I can find a small 150 or maybe a 70 watt one And make a cool tube for it or something and add it in the flowering chamber for next time. I feel that would rock their socks off.

Hahaha yea thats what I was thinking. I think I can control the heat even with them in there so I guess im gonna add them in there and see what happens. I'm thinking if I have it how it is in the picture, it will do work on the lower leaves and beef em up. But I think your right about the hps being enough, I'm in love with it dude you should really invest in one. How tall is your biggest lady? While waiting for my hps to come in, I was raising my cfl's trying to stretch her as tall as I can. I wanna see how big I can get her.

I think the one in the red bucket is about 18'' inches give or take. not too sure. shes a good size one tho, the other two are only about an inch or two shorter. theyre all good genetics, im gonna use the red one as a mother clone probably.

Hell yeah man that's awesome!! My little lady is a foot now, I'm trying to get her as big as I can and by the looks of it I should have some pretty nice colas. And the weather has gotten a little colder down here, I have the temp in there at a steady 73-76 degrees!! super excited about that, super stress reliever!!!

Nice floro grow dude! It's cool to see people doing their thing with floros. Respect! Good luck the rest of the way. Check my first grow if you got a minute. Just started, but can always use input from my peers. Sub'd
