well.... things are not going exactly as planned.... but rest assured I'll be on track soon!!! day 91 I think on the sativa.... NEVER again!!!! lol!! but anyway... heres a pic of the Kolossus... sadly it wont be vegging I guess under the induction lamp but it will definitely be flowering under it. I have it under the small cfl's and a 100w blackstar and honestly the thing looks great... super tight nodes and very bushy. Fimmed her and have 4 solid tops and some other interesting growth that might translate later into a VERY interesting canopy.... anyway, here she is....

Tonight will be the start of 12/12 under the induction lamp finally!!!!!! I threw in one of the 100w Blackstars for side-lighting and help in the red spectrum. It was going to be sitting around doing nothing so I figured it would be foolish not to use it. The Kolossus is turning out to be a BEAUTIFUL plant with lush green new growth everywhere!! Fim-ing went well and has completely recovered. 4-5 tops seem prominent. the stem is probably 3-4" inch thick and very sturdy. I've fallen in love with these airpots. I bought two for my tomatoes and the plants are 3 times the size of the ones I put in the ground... they are amazing!
Anyway... heres a pic to get things started at long last:) Hope a few people were patient and still have interest~

One more thing I just noticed which is a HUGE plus.... the temp in the tent is the SAME as the ambient temp in the room!!!!!! My worries about summer temps are diminishing by the second!

awesome stuff donnie =D and that is awesome about the temps! I am considering a PAR 420 for my space right now... I am loving the way that I have seen Inda-Gro lights perform... Good luck and keep it up! your Mad Scientist girl is gorgeous! I'll be watching the show!!!

quick little update... my mad scientist seems to not be taking to the fox farm ocean forest very well... no additional nutes whatsoever and it's got a pretty good burn on the first set of leaves. First time I've encountered that although I've read many people saying to be careful with certain strains... I guess the MS is one of them!!! Not too worried as it's exiting the seedling stage and the new growth looks nice:)

Going to stick to just the distilled water and hopefully she will acclimate to the soil.
Will have new pics of the Kolossus up on Wednesday probably... she's sleeping now or I would have snapped a few... the STRETCH has begun!!! she looks good!! loving the induction lamp so far!

Nice work. I run Sannie's gear exclusively. Just harvested Kolossus, Mad Shack and Killingfields. Kolossus is a great plant. You'll love it.

With FFOF soil here is what I do to avoid burn on the seedlings; start them in small pots w/ a neutral soil then after they are on their 3 or 4th leaf set transplant into your large pots into the FFOF. You should be fine.

Be really careful about adding nutes to the FFOF. My Mad Shack was particularly sensitive.

Cool man, good luck on your grow.

ty for the info!!! the mad scientist is looking a little rough:( the new growth looks great though so I'm still optimistic. I def won't be adding any nutes for a LONG time.... and even then, with a very light hand:) As for the kolossus I have been using fox farms at about 1/3 strength and she is loving it!!!

just snapped a pic of her... Hope she acclimates to the soil:(014.jpg
growth seems a bit stunted as well...wondering if maybe I damaged the roots transplanting out of the solo cup... only time will tell I guess

definitely starting to thing the Mad Scientist may be a RUNT or something... 4th set of leaves coming in and it's probably only 2.5 inches tall.....lol! the biggest leaves are probably only the size of a half dollar... very strange!! anybody ever come across anything like this??? could the FoxFarm soil have stunted it's growth in addition to the nute burn??? still just plain ol distilled water... I should also mention it's in the smallest smartpot available...pretty sure it's a gallon but looks smaller to me... just as a size reference~017.jpg

day 14 of 12/12~ Supercrop

Things are still going beautifully!!! Decided to supercrop the 4 tops to expose the multitude of lower budsights. Always a little nervous while doing this but the results have always been favorable so I just take a deep breath and "PINCH"....lol~! Will post again in a few days to update on recovery time... fingers crossed!

didn't get to post these earlier as I was running late for work but I dug out a "makeshift" scrog screen aka tomato support... not ideal but should do the trick to hold down the branches for a few days~
