Hello forum this is my first indoor grow. thought ill share to the community. every thing is legal i am medical cannabis patient. this is my very first indoor grow. moving away from a small closet grow of 4 plants. My new room is in a secure metal shed and its dementions are 8x12x8 high. it will be a flower room running on 2 1000w, parabolic hoods with light rails, portable whytner ac dehumidifier unit and a wall mount 20icnh fan i haven't decide if i need a exhaust fan yet. but here are some pics.View attachment 3015696View attachment 3015697View attachment 3015699

Whats the btu on the ac unit?
Im sure its rated for a larger space than your using, which is perfect. But with those hoods not being aircooled, you could have that ac running all the time.$$$$$.
This should go without saying, but the grow room should be insulated very well considering the ambient temperature could be brutal since it's practically outside.

If it were me, being this is in a shed, i would buy some raptor or some other large air cooled hoods. Duct those from and to outside the growroom. Make the room sealed and add co2. Youll need a good controller to allow the ac to have priority over the co2. This way your not pumping co2 out while your ac is running, which obviously be a waste of co2 and $.

Just my thoughts. Might be different if you were in a building with ac already.

what that man said

to add on .........depending on where u are and what the laws are u have made yourself a huge target the heat that will put out will light up a flair viewer like a bonfire
this will not get a warrent but this will give them a house to check out for some bullshit reason ....they see anything smell anything or just plain dicks it will be probable cause to do a spot check

as he said the shed should be insulted so they only see the outer temp ..............6mil thcik mylar will do this along with fiberglass insultaion at 4 inchs thick (think those big puffy winter jackets u see ........with one of those on they see nothing on IR scanners it is how to evade them )

the only thing left is to mask the venting point ..........the smell and the heat

my a say paint the roof white this way your shed will not aborb the heat from the day and what ever heat that is leaking tho the insultation it should look like the heat of the day being lost to the night
