Those work well and run cool, I run a propane co2 gen and keep everything sealed up and controlled......well as much as I can with it being 3f outside

I've never ran co2 either. I have a big tank that I used to fill paintball guns. Will this type of tank work, obviously have to buy controller and few other things. I think 100lb tank, same size as oxygen or acetylene tanks
They will work fine, what you will want to do is look at your state laws some states will only rent out tanks and won't fill privately owned tank.

I've never had the chance to try co2 in my set up.
Recently I revamped my room so it's possible now.
I use an Evolution Fan Speed Controller so I just need their co2 board and I'm ready.
Gas will only cost a bag of grass.
I have the light power so I might give it a go come summertime.
My mates 5x5 tent is in bedroom so he couldn't run co2 but he breathes enough out.... lol
He also runs 2 x 8" box fans for extraction !
This might be a dumb question but here goes anyway. If you're keeping your tent at 1500 ppm and using a controller for the output, why can't you run CO2 in a tent, inside the house?

Good question!
I can't answer it as I've never used it.
Children running about and a fear of getting gassed?
I'll have to ask him.
Are tents 100% leak proof?
Co2 1000 - 2000 ppm - complaints of drowsiness and poor air.
That seems acceptable if you aren't in the area for hours.

tents are not leak proof at all.and co2 at 2000ppm will not harm people.it takes a level so high where you cant get oxygen because the co2 is stronger than the air to make us feel dizzy.but in a bedroom it could happen i guess,if you have a bad timer or co2 control box that sent the co2 up over 10,000ppm.best to not use co2 in your bedroom or anywhere near children.but theres plenty of growers that work in their rooms while it sits @ 1500ppm co2 or more

Also with the co2 being heavier than air it will tend to accumulate lower in the room so if you sleep on the bottom bunk you're fecked!
Lol

Yes. 10,000 ppm is 1% gas in air. 20,000 is 2%. So on and so on.....
yeah i knew that, just giving an example of co2 levels where we would start to have problems like dizzyness, headaches ,ect.40,000 ppm is very hard to achieve without using a continuous flow gas co2 generator.i would think most bottled co2 tanks would need to be wide open until empty to achieve these levels.im too lazy to do the math but most guys use a 20# bottle in small setups.you would need total valve failure to reach those levels i would guess.conversly you could sit in a sealed tent and just breath, after enough time the tent would be full of co2 lol

How did yo
8 ladies in a room that's 10x5 but only lighting 6x5.

I have California light works 550, advance spec s9000, some random LED pulling 320 at the wall. I just picked up a deva 1000w de. I am running co2, RDWC so my question is am I going to be pushing to hard at full power? Currently week1 of flower, I plan to start low and slowlY creep up to 1k and watch how they handle it.

Thanks for any advice in advance

How did your DEva 1000w hps fare? Any issues with it?

Not at all, it does put off a ton of heat but that's to be expected but well worth it for the light it puts out. I dropped to the DE 1k, the CLW550 and a 4 tube t5 with 2 uvb and 2700k for a 6x6
How hot did the case get? I'm wondering how close to.the cieling I could run one in a 4x8 tent
