yeah it does, every day it looks better and better, buds are filling in and getting bigger.
heres everything i got from the little plant, its drying and will be put in 2 jars in a couple days.

its week 17 for the tall weed, 4 weeks of veg and 13 weeks of flowering. this is one tough plant, it fills the whole box. its filling real nice, buds are looking good, heres the pics.

Damn that thing looks like its gonna be a 20-weeker! All white hairs still. But looks like it will be a good haul though. Are you going to drop the lights-on time at all to help it finish?

yeah, no doubt, there are some starting to turn brown. if they fill in as much as i hope, it will be quite a haul. sorry nwo, but what do you mean "drop the lights-on time at all to help it finish?"

Oh sorry man, i just meant changing the light cycle from 12/12 down to 11/13 or 10/14.

Well if it was me i would probably do it now. Couldn't hurt after what, almost 14 weeks. Haven't any experience doing it myself though but i would go for it.

ok, ive just done a bunch of reading on this. its quite a debate, LoL. some say it works, some dont, im gonna do it. i just adjusted my timer to 11/13 and next week ill put it at 10/14 till finished. they say it works good with long growing sativas, which we all know this is, LoL. i will also do the 48 to 72 hours of dark before i cut and no water for the 3 days also. wish me luck, LoL. have you read about the 12-1 veg theory NWO? thats a whole nother can of worms.

Hey cd....Just curious....what kind of timer do you use ? Have you ever had a timer fail on you ? Seems like a lot of different thoughts on timers here....

Yes, I started reading into the light deprevation thing but was way too confusing for me at the time. Glad to see you've decided to go for it. When i have the space i plan on running long flowering sativas so i am interested to see how it works. I noticed as well the debates on this and it seems for sure suited to sativas. Seems you have to have the time for it to actually work. For example, if you ran 12/12 for 7 weeks and did 10/14 for the last week of an 8week flowering indica variety, it likely wouldn't accomplish anything. In your case i think it will in your favour.

its an old ingraham that i got way back when i had my white cabinet from the late 90's. its never let me down, not sure if there still available. edit: ha, there still avialable, but its the push/pull pin type, i hate those, LoL. $28 on amazon.
the 12-1 thing is crazy, you would have to have a good digital timer for that schedule i guess. its something like 12 on, 5 1/2 off, 1 on and then 5 1/2 off. some say their plants really boom in the veg stage. im not ready for all that, 18/6 will have to do, LoL. they also said during the last cuople weeks to go from 12/12 to 11/13 for a week and then 10/14 for finish, thats what i'll do with thing seeing as it still at least a couple more weeks. heres a pic from just now, were at almost 14 weeks of flowering.

wow, since the 90s with that timer and no issues ? wow...I think I may look into getting that brand, or maybe even google search an old model like yours....That's quite the impressive track record.

yeah, its pretty cool, its only a 2 prong plug, i took a 3 plug adapter and broke the groung plug off since all the plugs to it where 2 prong any ways. it runs the 10 bulb fixture, the 2 tube lights on the side and the 9" fan on the roof of the box. hey, i just looked and they have some this type on ebay right now for like 5 to 10 dollars, just put in "ingraham timer".

I just picked two of them up...Got the same one as yours used for $10, and I also bought a used Ingraham Heavy Duty 3-prong timer for $6.99 shipped. I will keep my eyes peeled for more deals on these timers...I am wondering if this is one of those "they don't make things like they used to" type of things.....These just may be real good timers. I'll take the chance on them seeing as though so much of today's timers are junk.

i saw that one, i was gonna put it on my watch list, LoL. i see ingraham made pocket watches also, they must know about time, LoL. i have a brand new GE pin timer, never used it though cause this one works so good.

thanks, the short one isnt the greatest stuff but its better than the shake in a jar i was smoking. i just hope this stuff is good after this long of a wait.
yeah, i just thought it was cool it was the same as mind. i bought that the GE one at home depot a while ago and its in my parts box, never did use it.
