ok ..so..hear we go again
i just ordered 25 4 ft. 3500k singel row f strips .
my design will be 20 strips 4 parallel 5 series with hlg480h-c2100A
this is 0.0583A per diode (0.063 for A version MW). So 23.8w per strip (25.8 for A) and total 476w or 516w with A meanwll.
195~ lumen per watt...
im out of breath....got to smoke something lol

ok i have finally got it together and revamped my lazy and incomplete nute regimen

things should be better from now on in..

even the flowering shots had ph 4 for nutes..


but did catch alot of fish in the last month

it has only taken three days to get things healthy......

on another note..after getting ripped off on heatsinks..i am going to get some fromanothe factory and install them on

these boards..sure i can keep these cool enough running bat 100 w each and a fan on em..i want to try heatsinks on them

and run them closer to the 250 w they are

ps. the flowering mex has spent most of her flowering life at ph 4 with dodgy nute ratios

she stood up well..

Haha, most likely by an Alibaba employee, who gives tips(email adress, ...) to his criminal sister/wife/family to rummage unsuspecting buyers.

This is a strange response from Alibaba, I did always wonder how the site would fare when it was sold back whenever it was.

I am surmising you put out a buying request and got a load of responses, one of them being the scammer in question?

If that's the case then this could only have come about from someone who is a seller on that site, which is why I find Alibaba's response strange.

Back then the threat of a complaint and using the escrow system usually put paid to potential scammers and offered the buyer recourse, sounds like standards have dropped and some of the safety netting has been removed if my assumption above is true?

My advice do everything through Escrow, and push for them to send you an IP65 sample even if it means paying for it, which once again you do through Escrow, that way you can see whether the Finished article is up to standard, and if not you simply do not release the funds until they send you one that is as agreed.

They do not send ip65 samples u gotta pay upfront

Heatsinks are heavy and if you don't want to wait several weeks costs quickly adds up.
Maybe it's cheaper to make a compromise and get other heatsinks from a local store which would do the job.

I prefer to make my own heatsinks from 3mm alu-sheet and a few C-channels. I'm using cheap 1$ thermal glue from ebay and 2 or 3 selftapping screws per C-channel and with lower current(up to 25w/COB) it works very well with COB's. And the heat is far better spreaded out with your boards so I see no reason why it should not work.
Selfmade heatsinks offers much more freedom for DIY.
It may not look so nice, but it's quickly done and much cheaper!

i am just using room fans blowing on the 6 panel rig driven at low wattage

as well as thebdual panel rig each panel having an a/c muffin fan with just channel aluminum to direct the air

they both work fine

however actual heat sinks where i can run them at 250 w are intertesting

and i would like to see how they do..as well i would like to try the ip65 design we made..

however besides neither of them being cheap due to not being lightweight and the air shipping .

i dunno if i will even take the free sample..20 sample cost less to ship but adding 13 usd to each does not make them

end up in any good ball park..

and they originally wanted to sell me 3kg ones

which i balked at..so i n order for them to be affordable they need to be no more than .75 kg

.. the nute mix has them turned around..

the panels are growing them as good as i have ever grown anything so far..

the next sample panels i am getting will be with LG 5630 G5 cri 90 and tc electronics solder less connectors

the LG 5630 G5's appear to be very efficient..

but dang..these samsung 561 c leds DO grow good buds..after finally using them for flowering..

and the early sample of this mex sativa sure fit my mood altering profile

i am trying 500w -600w over 4 x 4 ft area's to see yield

the 6 panel rigs are doing good with no heat sinks only a big room fan

i am starting to be partial to the dual panels each with a muffin fan..and two of these dual's per 4 x 4 or 5 x 5.ft.. so 4 per area

@OLD MOTHER SATIVA Have you looked over the selection of heat sinks at CDIWeb? They ship to Canada and have all kinds of HS, all the way up to the Coolbay Tera's that can protect the CLU058 up to 480w. I have tried the China route also and the shipping cost ruin the great deal, unless you buy enough for a shipping container by ship.
