600w DWC Medical Grow- First Timer

changes res today, stats are as follows:

EC: 1.0
ph: 5.6
res temp: 66F
tent temp: 76F

-added approximately 75mL of pro-tekt to 25 gallon change out
-did not use cannazyme, saving for bloom
-went back on h202 for the helluvit and cause its dirt cheapo anyways

light lowered to 16", plants were given a quick dip in some tobacco tea for peace of mind... there was no evidence the spider mites were still there, but i figured i might as well make sure... i plan on continuing maintenance against the mites with rubbing alcohol and distilled water 50/50 mix for the next couple weeks, later today i will build my screen, unless im busy, then i will take care of it tomorrow...


edited to add: pictures will follow later on, and i must say im pleased somewhat with how the grow is going. it is very very easy to keep my res in homeostasis, i am not entirely too sure if the res change was a bit premature, ec was at 9.0 after res maintenance somewhere around day 5. although i am around day 10 since i started adding nutes, but i guess this will serve as a fair levelling off point... also i would rather do more res changes and have better results if thats the way its gonna work, quality is of utmost importance to me.

well tonite was pretty uneventful, i didnt fall asleep til noon, so didnt wake up until 8pm... went and picked up some herb to smoke, and some for brownies... construction of screen will happen tomorrow possibly, plants are cool:

OD'ing on brownies, superior growers supply in livonia, mi had their 27 year anniversary with 27% off, picked up some stuff, will probably go there tomorrow and get a bunch more... plants are lookin good:

i think im gonna let the ph swing all the way up to 6.2 or so this time, to give the plants time to get some P, and probably adjust down to 5.7 from now on, ph isnt swinging enough for the plants to get the full range...

woke up today to find the only one that is not revegging with some brown spots, decided to bump up to 5.8 in case it was nute lockout of P, but am pretty sure my alcohol abuse did it (i.e. me spraying them with too high a concentrate of rubbing alcohol/water)... either way, plants are doin their thing and im gonna let it ride...

a couple weeks from when i bought them as clones, here are some pics from today, the plant on the right is vegging nicely, the one on the left is less retarded than the one on the center with the revegging... looks like the new nodes that have unfolded are gonna look like veg leaves comin out:

tent temp: got up to 80 in there today, so i cracked the door on the tent, and its droppin, down to 77F now...

res temp: 67.0 threw a frozen bottle in
tent temp: let it get up to 80 again in there, i believe at the hottest points of summer it stays at 80.9 solid (not too shabby)

plants are looking good, the one in the middle seems to be stunted, not really concerned though as i can fill my screen with a couple plants... the one that is in veg right now seems to be doing the best, though the new growth on the left plant looks like veg... the one in veg (right plant) seems to be shooting new sprouts every day...

edited to add:

gonna adjust back down to 5.8 in the next couple days if it doesnt swing back itself and goes higher than 6.0 =-D

figured i would show the current frame for my scrog, though it will end up with some multi-height wings on it so i can adjust it and go somewhat vert with it...

im a forum mod elsewhere, and have seen covert attempts at marketing a bunch of times... the thing i wonder is how like 3-4 spinner people popped up within the same week, and only have like 3-4 posts at the time, either way, do ya thang.



some update information, today i went to the dispensary where i purchased my clones...

i was informed that i may be in possession of a purple kushxtrainwreck, and straight trainwrecks. chances are the purple kush x trainwreck is the plant that is vegging nicely, i deduced this because there were no straight trainwreck there, and their pk x tw that they had on site are in veg. all of their clones today looked sad as fuck, told em im not buyin shit but beans anymore cause of mite issues. when i mentioned that i had clones off of two separate plants someone piped up from the back office that they could be a different perdo, of which i figure he must have meant pheno and just doesnt know wtf he was talkin about... the clerk informed me that clones are "tricky business at first", and i said wasnt nothing tricky about it except for the spider mites. either way, that will be the last business of mine they see. i picked up a grab of bubba kush x chem dog that was lookin exceptionally tastey, and am about to go crack into it.

as for the plants they are doing well today, ph and ec arent budging at all, and they are drinking, so i believe everything is going smooth. and they are growing, and their roots are coming in nicely. i will get some update pictures tonight, or tomorrow, also picked up some twine to make my screen today.

wish the temps outside would drop below 80, gettin up to close to 90 which is making my AC units strain to keep it under 80 in here.

ok, well ec and ph havent budged yet, cooler outside today, which means cooler inside my apartment... im even gonna take the time to enjoy some coffee i think. either way, some updated pics a little later, my plant on the right is packing on size with what i perceive to be real tight nodes.

some new pictures, the first pictures of the plant that is in veg currently looks pretty good. please pay no mind to the little yellowing on a few of those leaves. they got burnt a little bit from mite treatment... either way, deep green is starting to fill out the leaves, which is cool cause they looked a little N light the other day, i didnt bother to adjust N because i saw the green comin out. guess it was just stress.

kk, cooler temps outside are making everything stay cooler inside here... picked up some humboldt micro 5-0-1 today to try to correct what appears to be the beginning of a slight N deficiency. gonna bring a bucket up to 1.0 with just micro and top off my res with it... haha hope it doesnt kill my shit...
