600W Purple Kush Scrog

Well, my next grow is getting on its way in another 3-4 weeks. I have not completely made up my mind on the strain yet. I have 2 options, Purple Kush or a Strawberry Cough / Chocolate Chunk Cross.
I know that the Purple Kush will be great for the scrog, but I have no clue about the characteristics of the Strawberry Cough.
Any insights on the strains would be greatly appreciated, it is decision time :)

I'm finishing my current grow (sig line). I learned a lot from this grow, sadly, a lot of it by mistakes, but it is all in good fun and my harvest will keep me going until my next grow is done :)

Here are some pics of my Clone and mother area. There is a Aurora Indica mom, a Purple Kush littl mom, and a SC/CC little mom. The clones are 6 PK's and 2 SC/CC.

Half the clones are for my mate, I guess we'll end up doing a side by side. He will be using the recipe from the hydro store (spreadsheet style) and I'm going to do my first grow without any 'magic sauces', meaning I will use base A/b nutes, Cal-Mag, Big Bud and Overdrive along with h2o2. I will keep my EC below 1.4 for the entire grow. Let's just say I have to know ;)
Two differences between the grows, I use a 600Watt he uses a 400Watt, we both will be recirculating in hydroton, I have AC, he doesn't.
I know it is not a true side by side, but it will have to do.

It would be cool if I could get him to post his progress alongside mine, I'll ask him :)

The time has come :) I have decided on the strawberry Cough x Chocolate Chunk cross.
I've been fiddling with changing my 'run to waste' system to recirculating (to much waste involved and what a job to keep the medium happy, wow) I'll post some pics so you guys can tell me if I'm going wrong somewhere here:)

This is the AC I'll be using, It's a Kenmore 5000btu. I made some mods in order to prevent any fresh air from entering my sealed space.

This is a shoot of my new and improved pressurized drip manifold alongside the dehumidifier that I use. The De-humidifier drains directly into the res.
I have had a lot of problems with leeking feed lines over the last year, so I finaly abandoned the f'n little drip plugs and went for pvc with quick connects :)

This shoot is an IQ Air Purifier, it's overkill lol, but it's what I had and it is also the best on the market so in it went. I use it cause I do not vent during lights on, it keeps the air very fresh and crisp in there.

This shoot is of my littl babes :) They are in hydroton, along with an airstone in each pot. I have additional airstones in my main res.

Co2 gets delivered via 20lb tank, I manually set a constant flow rate to maintain between 1200-1500ppm. I have a co2 ppm counter in the space.

i just got a hold of a couple of cough clones aswell, i'm doing them in soil but it will be nice to watch these guys grow along with them.

mine will only be running under a 400 watt hps with t5's as supplement though so it definately wont be as impressive.

Are you socal? Don't know what to expect from the Strawberry Coughs x Chocolate chunk, we'll see!

i'm growing the two strawb clones i have as mothers but im planning to start a small 6 or 8 plant organic sog grow with clones from them as soon as i move my current grow into my flowering cab (shivaXnorthern lights)

Decisions, decisions....
My buddy came by with a 1000 watter that he is not using and was very tempted to add it to my space since I am set-up for it. Decided against it cause it's not a very efficient way of meting my requirements. Instead I will add another 600 watter next grow.
My scrog screen is 3x3, my 600 is more then enough but I added the purple mom on one side and the SCxCC mom on the other side. It'll be a challenge to keep their size down while the screen fills lol.
I added 2 more emitters to my drip manifold, threaded 1/2" pvc with 1/2" to 1/4" quick connectors make it so much easier (no leeks).
If I do not get enough light spread from my 600 I'll switch it out for the 1000 :)

Decided to do a res change.
EC 0.8 PH 5.4
4ml/g Canna Aqua Vega A/B
2ml/g Cal Mag
2ml/g Protect (Silica)
1.7ml/l h202 every 3 days

PH still needs to be adjusted twice a day, due to the Hydroton I think.
I don't have my Camera till Thursday, but they look good, a bit drunk but in a good way,lol. Amazing how fast the leafs thicken up from the co2.
