I managed to snap the main stem completely off about 5 nodes down.. Put some electrical tape on it hope all goes well, its a bit to late to top the plant

Well it didn't take... I lost 5 nodes or about 3 and a half inches of plant. It doesn't sound like much. But I no longer have a main cola.

Anyway it might be cause its a little warm today but my place is stankin. It smells like a powdery fruit smell. Lol I don't know how something smeells powdery but it smells like powdery berries with a rotten funk tinge.

I have 3 phenos in my sativa, a tall narrow cheese, a tall but bushy/ more christmas tree citrus, and a single short lanky scrawny berry

I have 2 different indicas, both are kinda bland. A skunky cheesy rotten berry. But not very developed... The aroma may not be that of the sativas but they sure are maturing fast and looking prettier. Hopefully like the sativas they just need time to show their true colors

I'm most excited about the citrus ones. I've never smoked smelled or even heard about weed that smells like you dropped an orange in the blender. The most citrusy I've ever had is usually a minty kinda mango

You know I did this journal for my self, so I could document flowering times, differences in age and flowering corresponding to yield along with which soil worked best etc etc. I have a bunh of different expirements and they are all getting different treatment

Anyway back to ma thing. My sativas that have been flowering from seed seemed to have slowed growth, they are in extremly small containers. Like half one of those plastic red cups.
I haven't raised the lights in a few days and they seem to have stopped or slowed development, flowering is continuing... I have these plants under almost no light, like a total of 3200 lumens and the leafs look like lettuce, same conditions but some are put in sun and aren't much taller but maturing slightly faster. These are the cheesy ones

Side note, all but the lone powder berry sativa have double serrated leafs..

The group under very low light is "attempting" to make double serrated leaves after I foliar fed a select few.......

I'm having difficulty catalogging causes and effects with so many different plants and phenos. It would be better with clone. But I've got it all together in my head but its confusing on paper

Alright I'm back
10 days ago my sativas were between 22 and 24in now they are 33-35 inches, that's bout an inch a day at 4 weeks into flowering. The main cola is roughly a foot long and its not filled but at the bottom about the width of a soda. I can easily see half oz tops on these plants and they don't apear to be done.. If they are dense and not to airy, oz tops would be possible.

My indicas have a lot going on. 1 of them suddenly jumped to almost the heigh ot my sativas the others are a little over a foot with no side branching and may produce a half oz each..but they are very frosty and delicious.. Still lacking much smell

Ill put u pictures next week perhaps when they are really looking good and hopefully at their final heigth

Alrighty well when I went to check the plants they didn't apear to grow any last night. I'm hoping they are done, 35 inches or so. And they are starting to get crystals. I'm also gonna be adding another 150 watts,I just saw my wall mart carries like 60? Watt bulbs.biggest I ever saw was 42 in the cfls but I found their security light section and they have more

They will be 7 and 8 weeks old on sunday flowering 5 weeks

Well these were takin on the 1st so they've actually changed a lot since these, I was too lazy to upload these pics ill get around to some good ones this weekend. They are getting frosty now with 1 of my indicas looking very special beatiful blue nugs coated in sugar it should be ready in a few weeks. The sativas and other hybrids have a month or so

Well all my plants now have sugar on em and my tallest sativa is 37 in or so and they are finally done growing!! They should still go up a few inches or so in the next 6? Weeks

Still have no stink protection but as of now my house smells good, maybe these sativas are just waiting a couple weeks to show me

Starting to wonder about defolaiation and the whole removing fan leaf thing, wondering if my indica smoke will be good since I can't flush, and I'm having difficulty watering, I hit buds with water and feel like I'm washing away goodness

So a shot of the whole garden then one of my sativas, they are all different but I'm just gonna put 1 pic cause they're pretty much doin the same thing. Bout 38in tall bout as wide as a corn cob or a small roller for like rolling dough. They are starting to get frosty now, next week they should be covered. The indicas and the toped plant are doing wonderfully, better than expected actually. I ended up getting 5 colas from my accidental top about 3 weeks into flower, and are huge.

Smells really strong when I wake em in the morning but I don't think I'm gonna need smell protection... For anyone that may read this I'm on the top floor next to a river park thing so I have no neighbors only a few people below me, unless it gets suuper stinky the breeze coming off the water wafts my stench up like it never happened.

Thanks bro, I think I'm doing alright for my first indoor "stealth" cab (I say stealth cause sometimes the inlaws come over and I can throw the garden in the closet)

Alrigh so the indica is getting chopped soon its got mostly cloudy trichs, the others have 3 weeks atleast and 2 of them just now stopped growing taller, I ended up topping them a bit....no pics will be coming till I chop the individul plant, its just to hard to get I'm there. But they ate actually really exceeding my expectations. Ill be chopping my little indica sometime next week. Might get an 1/8 off of it but its cool my sativas are hogging all the light

I just read this thread journal and it looks like their coming along nicely...you had just mentioned your closet,why don't you use your closet to grow in...Did you say what type of soil you use?I think you said you've done it before,but I would not put that many plants in one container.. I used to use a diy 2x2x4 box but now I use it to veg,3 weeks then in the closet..I love my closet cfl setup.peace

I have learned my lesson about proximity I also only have that many in 2 gallons of dirt but I have 2 tubs 1 with organic mg the other with African violet mg ,both half perlite. Also mg bloom booster epson and molasses, I alternate 1 each watering and I water once a day.

As to heat, I don't have any filters and only a standard oscillating fan, it gets too hot in my closet.

But thanks I'm still getting the hang of it, a bit different than my outdoor grows

He real reason I don't grow in my closet is I don't have to worry About smell or people coming in. I also have plants on my deck so I figure why try to hide

I'm getting a 600 watt hps soon and some seeds online, I've been growing shwag seeds for so long I'm a little leery but I'm gonna make that closet the momma/clone room.

Not really a suggestion.....but i'm gonna go with tga deep purple and querkle.Have you heard of Shoreline from devil's harvest,its a skunk cross that originated in Texas in the 70's,really stinky and purple.....I WANT TO GROW SOME PURPLE WEED!......lol

Only thing I can say is make sure its for international use and a one time use only one I bought the reloadable one and had to give ss# and nameand take into account shipping I put $100 on it and my order would have been $105

No I don't know too much about em. I have heard some bad things about tha lately though., a dude that goes to UT grows out tarantula I think from Texas resin co, or tom hill.
