dobermans are guard dogs, not tracking or hunting dogs, and i cannot think of a single dog breed that hunts primarily by sound, even if we accept the preposterous suggestion that cutting off 3/4 of a dog's ears makes their hearing better, WHY would you do it?

you might as well fit a bloodhound with glasses, or equip a teacup poodle with titanium fangs and razor sharp retractable claws.

if lopping off 3/4 of an ear makes hearing better, why not chop 3/4 of each leg off racing greyhounds, then they would really be fast!

So, you missed the toilet and don't know how easy it is to grab those flop ears, when they go for your balls.

And I guess you don't realize that is the main reason, the interior hearing, in specific frequencies is the second.

And you don't seem to admit there is nothing at all natural about any of the modern breeds, dogs or otherwise. They are all breed to purpose. They are a tribute to us.

I'm a dog lover and I believe that if you ever had a pet boxer in your house with out a docked tail, you would understand the reasoning. Until then you truly can't speak appropriately on the subject. I can rant and rave all I want to but why do it about something you don't know both sides of the story of. There's nature lovers out there that thinks it cruel to destroy a living plant just to smoke. Their right too but do we stop no. If everybody would just worry about their own garbage this world would be a better place. Not to mention, the people always in other peoples shiet, have to biggest garbage pile. All of the do gooders and high and mighty always fall way down, history has proven this.

I wish my rat terriers had their tails. They were docked before I ever saw them. Though when they wag their "nub" their whole butt shakes and that's pretty cool.
