Thank you for those charts for the CNS17 Nutrients, I ordered the CNS17 Coco & Soil Grow and the CNS17 Coco & Soil Bloom.

What do you think about those two...?
I like the Nutrient Ratio they both have...

I like the nutrient ratio of the CNS17 Coco Formula as well.
As for the rule of thumb about N-P-K ratio's
Grow phase= Hight N- Low P- Low K
Bloom phase= Low N- High P- High K
They are opposites so its easy to remember...

Now I can't remember, but I think towards the end of the bloom phase either P or K is supposed to be higher than the other. Somebody might want to chime in and help me out in it. Either way, I think you absolutely need the CNS17 Ripe. Some companies say their Base nutrients are only 2-part, but clearly if you look at the feeding chart, they group a third product into the base-line. I don't understand the marketing tactic there, maybe I'm just wrong, somebody knows better.

Humboldt does it with DeuceDeuce, I consider DeuceDeuce(0-0-22) to be part-3 of the 2-part Organic Base Nutrient Line.

Great information, thank you again...

So I should order the CNS17 Ripe Nutrient as well then, make it a 3-part...?
Add can you post a picture of a Nutrient Chart to use...?

There is a ten week chart on the top Left corner of that pdf link I sent you. And now that I just looked at it, I noticed that the "Fast Blooming Feeding"(which I assume is fancy talk for 12/12 from seed) chart doesn't even have CNS17 Bloom listed. So I think that verifies that Ripe is an integral part of their base line.
http://www.botanicare.net/sites/default/files/brochures/CNS17_Brochure10update_0.pdf
Also from looking at the chart, i noticed that there isn't much overlapping or combining going on with the formula. Pretty much appears to be a 3 step process. During the first transition from growth to bloom, the Grow and Bloom nutes overlap. The second transition would be when going from early bloom to late bloom, during the phase now known as Mid-bloom, there is no overlap shown in the chart. But if you see, its broken up into three stages:
Grow= CNS17 Grow
Early Bloom= CNS17 Bloom
Late Bloom= CNS17 Ripe

Again rule of thumb is to always use less than the directed amount at first, then gradually raise and observe.

those first few pics look like your plants are getting too much water.....your water level is too high...there should only be about an inch of the net pot submerged.

I know it does kinda look like that, but I actually just rinsed the Hydroton and just planted everything so it looks very fresh...
They look great now, and at about 1inch to 1 1/2inch of the Net Pot is under water...

OMG i was just googling, ended up back here and found this thread.
https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/150282-botanicares-reccomended-doses-joke.html
There is a joke in that thread. It was funny to me at least. Post #3, "I was in your thread" feel like a punch-line to me.
LOL, that's great...!

Oh and thanks for the Nutrient Charts :leaf: I just printed them out...
Those will come in handy to have...
Cant wait until I get those Nutrients, my plants are in need of a good boost...!

Thanks a ton man, I have a PDF Editor and I can just switch a couple of things and even add the Botanicare's Logo, lol...
Either way this makes it 100% perfect for me to log my days and levels of everything I need to monitor...

I'm still waiting for everything to get here in the mail... :(

Oh yeah I ordered 10 Feminized Seeds of Big Bang its a cross of Skunk, El Nino and Northern Lights...
Wide Plant... But I can retain its height by LST, but this strain is only a medium height plant...

I will keep ya updated on when I get those seeds and plant them... :leaf:

Tightness. What seed bank did you use?

Also, What kind of light schedule did you plan on using? Or did you plan on tweaking on the fly?

Of course I'm going to link you to something helpful. Might just blow your mind. But I don't mean no harm to your head. According to the seedfinder database Big Bang is Indica/Sativa and NOT Sativa/Indica, so maybe the lighting schedule might lean towards the Indica pheno/geno. In otherwords 12/12 might be your flowering light as opposed to 11/13 or 10/14 that Sativa pheno/geno need.

Also flowering time is posted as 60 days or 8 weeks. Very good information for planning.

Green House is a good company, congrats.

24 Hours on right now for lighting, when it comes to Flowering I am still unsure for now...
I was thinking 12/12 but not sure now that I have two different Strains in one area, I'm going to have to compromise a little...

What do you think...?

Oh man, what do I think? Dude, I'm slightly off my rocker. If I could find a 48-hour timer, I would say 35/13. But, I can't. Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. Oh man, there is a way to do it with a 7-day timer and reprogramming it once a week, but f' it.

Now seriously, I looked at Big Bangs stats. Based off this:
Flowering= 8 weeks
Lineage= NL=Indica, El Nino=India/Sativa, Skunk#1=Sative/Indica
Self Classification= Indica/Sativa

12/12

As for the variable of the other plant, what is it? I don't like unknowns.

24/0 Is pretty intense. Not something I recommend. But these plants can handle all kinds. A widely used practice is to gradually shift the light schedule to bloom as opposed to flipping the switch to 12/12 over-night. Just flip it to 12/12 whenever. 11.5/12.5 maybe? Just so you can fight off the paranoia that 12/12 is just too obvious.

Edit: 11/13 I bet it flowers in that.

I don't know what the other plant is, sorry... It was a seed from a Medical batch I smoked... :leaf: Hopefully Good...!

So my lighting right now is to intense...? 24HR/ON...?
Should I change it down to like 18/6 Light/Dark or 20/4 Light/Dark...?

Oh yeah I made a Drip System, I'm testing it out first on a no Marijuana plant... Lol...
I will post pics of that soon...

...NEW UPDATES FOR EVERYONE ON MY CLONES...
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Clone 1: has been doing great, the Roots are getting bigger and bigger plus more of them are popping out...! :leaf:
Digital Marijuana Picture 009.jpgDigital Marijuana Picture 007.jpgDigital Marijuana Picture 013.jpg
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Clone 2: is still not doing or looking so good, but the top seems fine, even growing another small node at the top but no signs of roots from what I can see...
What does everyone think here... I'm still using plain water also... No Nutrients...

Plain water is fine for propagating clones. Often a little hydrogen peroxide or some sort of root stimulant is used. Hydrogen peroxide is for sterility, but I don't even use it anymore. Just use good water, at least Reverse Osmosis Water or "R.O" water.

So my CNS17 Grow & Bloom Nutrients came in today....! I have already made up a batch for Clone 1 for now, Clone 2 will just be plain water until she roots for awhile...
Clone 1 is ready for a small boost so I only used 10ml of CNS17 Grow per 1gal of Distilled Water and added it to the Reservoir today... We will see how she reacts to the Nutrients...

CNS17 Grow Nutrient Ratio: 3-1-2
Good Starting Ratio in my opinion...

So the other day I got my CNS17 Nutrients in the mail and I flushed out the water from my reservoir on Clone 1... I added 10ml of CNS17 to 1gal of Distilled Water then added the mix to the reservoir, the CNS17 recommended using 15ml of Nutrient solution but I wanted to play it safe and build her up slowly so I don't put her into shock, she has been through enough as is... :leaf:

After 1 day of the CNS17 Nutrient solution added into Clone 1's feeding schedule she as definitely taken a liking to it by far... She shot up over night in growth and looks very healthy now... I think I found my Nutrient I will be using from now on... :leaf:

_________________________________________________________________________________________
As far as Clone 2 goes she still hasn't shown any sign of rooting as far as I can see, she still looks good by appearance, even some new small growth has started... I am still using just water and no nutrients of any sort, I do use a Foliage Spray on her now from the CNS17...

Is that ok to use on her at this stage...?

Hopefully she will just root and be fine... :leaf:

This looks good. I'm excited. Do you like those little blue things on the airhose? Mine always ended up interfering with the airflow and I always ended up taking them off. Just had to make sure the tube was in a safe configuration as directed by the manufacturer.
