A New Cannabis Club House! "The Cannabarn" - Previously G&S Farmers Market!

The owners let me post this for everyone:

THE CANNA BARN - Patients and Caregivers Club - Previously the old G&S Caregivers Farmers Market.

The market folks have re-opened the old market building as a club house for patients and caregivers to have a place to mingle and be among the like. They will allow table vending for retail items but no meds sales or transfers of any kind on site; and you will be asked to leave if they suspect you of breaking the rules evidently. Patients will get a stamp on the way in the door and can medicate in the designated areas. Pool table, darts, games, music, food and drinks, free wifi, loung area with TV and video games, etc. They will be hosting events, meetings, expos, and even said they are considering hosting a local caregivers cup! I dig it! There are lots of bars and clubs around these parts, but no cannabis clubs till now! Could turn out to be a nice thing for the folks in the area.

They are opening the doors Sunday, for St. Patties day, "Green Day" Pow-wow at 4:20!

FYI - Its a Puff puff - no pass place.. Until transfers are legal, passing a joint will get you booted, but as a patient you are welcome to burn down all you got. (dont want to get them shut down)

how are they making money if it is free to get in?

good for them for reopening. hopefully cops don't just sit down the rode and pull over patients leaving that place. michigan does have a zero tolerance law.

Strict 'adhearance' to said rules, doesn't sound like a bad idea at all until things settle back down.

It is free. They wont make money on it, they make their money elsewhere as far as I am aware, aside from food sales, pipes and papers or what ever. As far as I know, they are bikers, understand the "rules" of the land in those parts, and dont give a shit about much other than giving folks a place to mingle and meet, and have a good time until the dust clears and they move on to other things. (ie. re-open for transfers if that comes to be).

As far as the cup, I dont know. Keep your head in the sand and Ill find out for you, pessimists! I think the idea was to have an event that stuck the "man" with guessing much like you are. (outside the box).. There was one just held here in MI, if you were not aware.

Sure I like to pass a doobie, but if all I can do is let it hang from my lip while we BS about the one on yours, that will do for me for now. Will you "really" get kicked out for passing? They looked serious..? I wouldn't, simply out of respect. I refer to manners, when in question.

this "run like a biker club", more private setting, concept is gonna take off for awhile... vroom vroom

sounds like asking for trouble, everyone in the same place committing the same federal crime after being advertised....kinda sounds fishy but i am a skeptic of most things that could land me in jail.

JOC, I think it would be slightly less than federal interest. Just sayin buddy. Wouldn't be the first time I had been to the joint over a joint however.

If you know of a law being broken, please comment and Ill pass it along. As far as the state: Its my understanding that if I am in a private setting, I am ok to consume my own meds. Am I breaking a law that I am not aware of?
