The link I sent is all I use and I get great results.

The bluer the "K" the shorter and more compact the plant will grow.
The 6,500k bulb from Feit Electric doesnt get to hot, it runs on someting like 48 watts and it's just at bright as a 200 watt. It's cool to the touch and you can hold on to it as long as you want. Which I like because you know you'll have a lesser chance at burning your plants.

Save those 2,700k for later.

no your 2700k are not useless but they are not as efficient as the same wattage 5000k or 6500k would be ... it would be a good idea to have a 1/3 ratio of 2700k in your setup so your plant can get both spectrums of light EX. for every 3 6500k bulbs you have in your setup you should add 1 2700k and do the opposite for flowering ... Walmart has a 5 pack 24w(5000k) for $9+tax ... Im doing a CFL grow at the moment with great results going off the information i just gave you

Alright so tomorrow im gonna goto wally world, get this 5 pack 24w setup you speak of kush, should i put the 2700ks on them until i get the other bulbs? Im thinking if i put them pretty close itd work alright.

Use the 2700s for flowering cycle.
You can use 1 or 2 if you want but you should keep the majority all blue. So if you want to save some money, lets say you can use 5 bulbs use 4 at a higher "k" and 1 of those 2,700k. I tend not to use any until I flower.

keep them about 2 inches away from the top of the plant and you shuld be fine ... dont want those lights to torch your seedling (been there done that lol)

Hendrix when you get those fans in cut a hole just big enough and mount it at the top of ur box so it blows air out...this should help... I would also advise switching to the 6500K would be much better for that heat problem...

happy growings

While you're at the store I'd pick up at least some kind of cheap thermometer too. Just so you can keep a closer eye on those temps
