Just registered my account last night (early this morning? Yesterday morning? Fuck, I'm confused again).

Was recommended to start reading in the "noob" area, so I used the search feature as I didn't wanna be "that lazy asshole who can't stand to burn a calorie", and here I am. This is the first thread I read all the way through.

#MayNeedToSwitchToBourbon

Some of them, unequivocally yes. Some on the other hand, well, I don't always take the meds the VA forces me so I have extras.

I suppose that like all things, it's just a matter of perspective.

I do this.. when my trichomes are a tiny bit before I want. I run 3 gallons of floralkeen. next day 10-15 gallons of water. dry out.. 10 gallons of water.... dry dry dry the soil... darkness 24-48 hours then harvest.. I have had my best tasting frostiest weed by doing that.

I may be wrong but untill i see better results i wont change
LMFAO!

I topped my current grow 4 times for the first time ever and vegged way too long in a 3 gallon container (2 months) the buds are hanging every which way lopsided etc and its gonna be hard to keep branches from breaking till harvest.. each day is a struggle.

I would love to scrog but I water in my bathtub and have to move plants.. one thing ive always wondered.. If you scrog a plant and in flowering she is growing through the screen.. how do you water without getting your floors wet/ruined?

I flush because i use fox farm solubles and use their cha ching up until flush... i can use water or florakleen and when i use florakleen after cha ching i get smoother smoke than with water alone.

with florakleen i can use nutes longer and flush them out faster.. I think atleast.. I done taste tests and the florakleen bud is always better
I put plastic sheets on my floor to protect them. you can also stick small bamboo rods in your soil around the edge of your pot to help support the plant if you do not want to use a screen.a tomato screen would also work

I will keep that in mind for next time.

she is coming down within a few days. I bought some of that thin green plant tie film.. Its built not to cut into stems and real soft etc. I did a big circle around the bottom where I lollipopped and tied a know and the plant has been holding steady like a regular plant that wasnt topped/lst'ed. its workin good

I refuse to believe im giving out bad information.. Every grow I do I get better yield/quality so that to me is proof im doing something right.

I followed some advice on flushing & it was a mistake. washed everything beneficial out of my soil , stressed out the plants.
A lot of pro dank producers force feed plants. I guess flushing is good for them. I'm just feeding the soil & letting the plants eat when they want to.
Watched strain hunters & they said to let the pot dry out completely until its super light but thats not good for beneficial bacteria either.
After tasting outdoor no till dank that was it for me. Everything else misses the mark. Nothing burns as clean & yet with such flavor.

I used to use this flush until I came up with my own home made recipe and its not to expensive but saves you from having to wash out (flush) your soils nutes. 51qtQ+r4YDL._SY400_.jpg

You suggested that people get a ufo led. Shit advice.

You claim to be able to taste the difference between "flushed" weed and weed that wasn't "flushed". Rubbish.

You can believe what you want to believe. It doesn't change the fact that you're giving out crap advice. Of course you're getting better yield/quality - I can't even imagine the brilliant techniques you were using on day1.

pipe cleaners work well for tying plants too

hmm since I live out in the country. I use sausage string, I've also been known to use gift bow string as well. Heck most of the time if it soft, I just use anything at hand.

cotton string sucks! little white strands of lint all in the bud. wont notice till you take macros of terps. next time i'll use some nylon string.

I've used it, cause its the only I had at the time, fortunately it didn't leave anything like that. Just used it for simple training anyways

so if i stick a seed in fox farm ocean forest soil and just water.. Ill get amazing weed at harvest and I wont run into deficiencies ? not being a prick, I'm curious
given enough room in the container, and given the right genetics?
YES.
done water only's with vermifire, ocean forest, and a generic organic mix that is local.
given enough soil it's perfect.
