A room in progress

Those changes all added up for you sketch. bigger hoods = cooler. Lolli, super longer veg all contributed. But More light is the winner IMHO. 50 watts per sq is a good startin point. My flower room numbers are around 80 watts.

1,000 watt raptors above. light movers with bare bulb side lighting? you get the grid effect without as many lights. you can also add different spectrums of light.

to me there is no ONE right way to grow. take the room + the genetics + the grower + the desired results + $$$$ = a good start

I was meaning just the addition of the hoods & light with grid boosted them from 3-4 to 5-6.. after that I started the longer veg times and so on. it's all relative tho :) everything works as long as it works....? right lol sorry had to give away my last meds to a buddy trying to make simpson oil for his mom. My brain is all ADD and ADHD atm...

The Before

soon to be drying room. Building a wall to surround this closet and the room to the left.

Soon to be my 4,000 watt flower room (witch will hopefully turn into a 8,000 watt by winter)

Looking good, its a great sense of accomplisment when you can completly build a room yourself. Good luck and keep up the good work.

Super Silver Strawberry Lotus Week 7 (haze Dom Pheno)

you know I just don't like the light movers... I have no idea why... it's like hating the smell of a banana. lol I make no sense
Too many moving parts that need regular maintainance with light movers.
That looks cool as fuck man. Going to be a top shelf setup from the looks of things.

What up sketch? I never liked light movers either. To much of pain to air cool. Have you seen that video for the grow bot? I
like how the tables raise, lower, and tilt all on switches. The lights are all fixed.

Air cooling with light movers really isn't that much more work honestly.
Either way, light rails are not for everyone.

Local hydro owner sells something like those growbots. Just like you said, fixed lights, adjustable tables (1 table per light, hand crank though)
for about $53,000. Much more reasonable IMO. Hope having to crank a rod a few times a day/week wouldnt be worth 20g's to anyone.

when i used air cooled reflectors i found these heavy duty bicycle pulley lifts for about $25 and they made it very easy to adjust and stay in place.

I clean my room and lights probably once a week if not twice. (I smoke in my grow room ,shit get's dirty quick).. I could not possibly think I'd do that much cleaning if I had to unbolt everything to get that glass out. lol
