Hell yea there fillin up nice,

What strain is that?

I got it from a buddy who said it's Northern Lights. He said he never had a male with this seed batch. I got the one hermaphrodite but I think that's because it was stressed out early on.

Next grow is Low Rider I think because it's short enough for the AG. I'm really thinking of getting a bubbleponics system from Stealth Hydro. I could do bigger grows with something like that. The AG has been a great learning experience. Korevett's journal has helped me TONS.

I got the AG on sale for $200. The lights were $20 each at Home Depot. I've got an air stone and pump so there's another 5-10 bucks.

I needed to get something quick because I'd already started germinating the seeds that I had. If I had it to do over again I would have done the Multi Spectrum Bubbleponics™ Complete Kit

The AG is a great way to learn about Hydroponics/Aeroponics so no regrets here. Even if I upgrade it's still nice as a clone setup.

Fa sho anytime, im probably gonna stick with the Ag for a while but I definitly want to get a bubbleponics system down the line, ima use mine for personaly use so whatever i can get out of it is cool with me, mine was free tho but all is lookin good, keep it up!

This is my first grow so I'm really just learning. I think that I might be off to a slow start because of some simple mistakes I made in the beginning. I'll let her flower until she's done so I think it'll work out OK. In any case, I'm pretty happy with the results so far.

Nice buds you got there. Did you grow them in an AG? Is this your first grow? Are you using CFLs or HPS/MH?

at the same store u bought ur lights u could have bought some real lights in the home security lighting dept, a 5 ballon bucket and got an air stone from petsmart with a pump for all about 120 bux!

just type dwc in ur search bar, its easiest, most simple hydro setup possible, 5 gallon bucket, an air pump, an air stone, a seedling, or clone, a pot, a little hydroton or perilite, or rock even, and thats about it!

Cool thanks. That's what I need. Simple and cheap. I still think the Stealth Hydro unit seems cool but I bet you could build one on the cheap. I don't need to drop more $$$.

It's been fun and educational and I really only need enough for myself. How much bud should I expect out of this grow anyway?

Hey onthedl. What lights are you using? I need some good info on this as well. I like how cool the CFLs run but I might consider MH/HPS if it's worth the cost. I'm a little concerned about the heat as I have to travel for work alot. Is this your fist grow or have you been at this awhile? This is my first but definitely not the last grow.

I veg with cfl until about 6 inches keeping the lamps almost touching the tops, from there i will either top the plants and/orThen i finish veg with m/h until the plants reach about a foot.
U could veg with halide from start to finish and almost everyone on here will say to veg with halide and i would say i almost completely agree, the only reason i start with cfl is because u can keep them close to ur plants and force them to bush, they dont burn ur plants, i have found with halide,because of heat u have to keep ur light farther away from ur plants so naturally they stretch! My preference is to have a nice bushy short easy stealth grow, ur plants will get out of hand jungle style if ur not carefull!
From there its off to flower with the hps, because they love it! i keep a collective mixture of cfl, old m/h, and hps in the flower room as well, if u got um burn um i guess!

only thing hydro will do for ya is, put a supercharged rocketship on ur grow, from seed to 3 months u will be smoking large quantities of cured bud thats going to make ya retarded! U can always get an auto dwarf strain hydro style and ur talking about 9-11 weeks total from seeds to smoking some crazy shit , anyhow hope that helps

Do you guys think I should invest in some good nutrients for this AG grow or just stick with the tabs?

hey your plant looks like its turning out really good! what strain is it? I actually purchased an aerogarden deluxe and ordered some top 44 seeds from nirvana so i hope i can grow some bum plants to! this is gonna be my first grow so do you have any tips on what i should do?

Growning:
I would definitely germinate in a paper towel and not in the AG pods. Once you get it going I would rip the grow pod down further (or even in half) to help the tap root reach the tank. Don't use any nutrients during the sprout stage. once you're about two weeks in start with one small tab from the AG. This should last for about two weeks. I started adding a new tab every week after about the 4th week. One thing I learned from RIU is not to "love your plants to death" in other words don't give them so many nutrients that you burn the shit out of them. You'll need more lights than just the AG. The higher power the better. CFL's cant burn your plants unless they're touching the leaves. I've heard you should get soft whites for the flowering stage but I found that out too late. I'm using full spectrum CFLs. Get a bubble stone & pump for the AG tank to help oxygenate the roots. You'll need a fan to keep air moving and to help make sure the stem grows strong. You need a timer for when you go from grow to 12/12 to control your additional lights. You'll need something for the smell too. I had an ionic air purifier that seems to work.

Other than that it's pretty much a no brainer. Just set and forget.

One last thing. Don't try and grow plants in all the pods of the AG. The most I've heard of is about 3 plants.
