I'll tell ya' when she's done. I started September 26th and she's still going. I fucked some shit up early so who knows how much longer. In any case it's a good way to learn about HP/AP. I think I'll have enough to keep myself happy for awhile. It's not a LBS's kind of setup but it'll work for me.

I'm concerned about some leaf damage. It's hard to tell from the photos but It looks like I might have ozone problems. I've been reading the grow FAQ and ozone damage is the only thing that looks close to what my plants have. I've got an Ionic Breeze running in there to help with the smell. I turned it from high to low but maybe I need to take it out altogether. I also have some burn I think. That's what the clearest photo shows.

Thanks man! I'm using 27 Watt Flat CFLs in the side lamps. The AG is great to start out but If I were going to do it all over I would consider getting a Bubbleponics system from Stealth Hydro:

SH Hydroponics, Inc. > Multi Spectrum Bubbleponics™ Complete Kit

For about $50 more than the list price of just the AG I could have gotten that kit. Don't get me wrong, I really like the AG.

It looks really cool and a little less pricy than the Stealth Hydro.

That'd be ideal for me, good size and all, i was thinkin about using soil though. but who knows, still time to change my mind haha.

Hydro is supposed to be faster but what the fuck do I know. This is my first time. Fun as hell....

I just drained the tank and put in fresh water and a tablet. Hopefully that and turning down the Ionic Breeze will help the leaf problem.

Doing great for first time, thats for sure. Looking good and can't wait to see how they turn out.

I gave up on the AG nutrients today. I've decided to take the plunge and get some real bloom phase nutrients. I picked up:
"Iconic Bloom" bloom nutrients 3 - 2 - 6
"Flora Blend" 0.5 - 1 - 1
I got both of these based on the recommendation of the people at the grow shop. Hopefully that will give the buds some heft over the next month or so. I'm going half of the recommended amounts for each right now.

Hey Bartelby. I just got an aero garden to play around with on the side from my serious garden. Did you germinate your seeds before you planted them? Or did the AG do all that for you?

I germinated in a paper towel until the taproot was about 1cm then moved it into the pods. You might want to rip the sponge in half to help the taproot reach the water more quickly. What are you running for your serious garden? I've heard the AG is great for cloning so you might want to use it for that.

I think the new nutrients are working. When I went into the grow room today she smelled really strong.

Can anyone tell me if this is the upgraded nutrients or just my imagination?

My other garden is soil but they are looking beautiful. Check them out on my other thread.
