Hi,can you tell me if to grow marijuana your settings are on tomato or herbs,can i use my own liquid nutrient and what setting in the aerogarden is 24hour light cycle. Thanks for your help. Blairy58

Tomatoes setting is great for vegging .. the lights are set to 16/8

check the aerogarden website for the supergrow option ..only the pro series have it ..

only the deluxe and pro series have a 24hr setting, which model do you have? Yes you can use your own liquid nutrients with your AG.

How do i get the basic aerogarden to go on 12hour cyle,do i use the tomato light cycle,16 on 8 off but then just turn it off myself after 12 hours. Thanks again

When using my own nutrients do i have to check PH

You need to take the cord for the light out and replace it with another one .get a figure 8 cord at a electronics store (or off and old playstation or radio) and plug the light cord into a timer for 12 /12

look at the plug that your unplugging from the aerogarden.. for the light ... look at the end . it looks like a fig 8 .. you need to find the same cord .. I used one from my broken playstation

Doesn't the light chord plug into wall socket anyway and then i would just need timer

Thanks for all your help so far,i just wanted to get as much info i could before i purchased Aerogarden. One last one.does the standard model grow big buds ,and doesn't the light chord plug into wall so i could just use timer.

The light plugs into the base of the AG not the wall but you can go to radio shack and get a figure 8 power cord for about $7 and then you can plug the light hood directly into a timer/wall outlet. That's what I have to do when it comes time to flower.
This is an experiment to see what kind of buds it can grow and I haven't used it before so I wouldn't be able to answer your other question...

That spottong occurs almost everytime in the aerogarden but usually doesnt spread past the first few sets of leaves or even if it does, it doesnt effect the plant much....

My last grow, had constant spotting on one of the planys but not the other....but the both grew fine...

Dont worry about it as long as they are still producing new growth...
