Biobizz Light mix is what i am using as well, its a good medium because it allows you to control your plants intake, however it does mean deficiencies are more likely.

could you tell me more about the molasses, how do you feed? what mix do you do? what ratio? is it ph water you mix with?

Hey dude no prob pick away. If i were to make 4 litres i would:

1. Boil 1/4 of the total water (4 litres in this case) you will feed to plant
2. Mix in 1 tbsp of blackstrap or unsulphered molasses thoroughly
3. Once mixed, add the rest of the water and mix thoroughly
4. PH the water
5. Feed plant

If we were to try to mix molasses to room temperature water it would take ages. Make sure water is at room temperature before feeding, add warm or cold water to balance it out.
Ratio is 4 litres of water to 1 tbsp of molasses

thanks Kush thats epic! one last thing how will the plant benefit from molasses, is it flavour or yield?

No prob man, molasses feed the plant helping with yield and possibly trichome production, it does change the flavour slightly. The reason people use molasses is because feeding fertilisers to the plant in the final 10 days will make it taste chemically/ horrible, by feeding it molasses it gives the plant much needed nutrients aiding in growth and doesn't really affect the taste of the plant, some people even say the bud tastes better with molasses.

Hey dude, you have a very nice first grow there and who ever said their very small is stupid cause your doing a pc grow so you would it to stay small... you have very frosty nugs!!!
my first grow was with CFL's and i had 2 AKR's and i have never looked back now growing under a 250w hps and still got 2 afghans on the go (plus other strain)
i was so pleased with the results that i cant help but keep buying that strain im even thinkin about gettin some regulars and trying to get my own seed supply
if you want to have a look at my first grow its on my profile, both the afghans had about an ounce each but that was under 370w of cfl's and it was my first grow so i was very pleased.... anyway good luck with the rest of your grow and i hope it all goes well for you! +rep for you

Thanks for the comments, i think theres a few jealous haters who dont like newbies doing it right first time, maybe cos they didnt do so well with there first grow! lol
Anyways back to business, last day today with nutes then its all down hill with the flush! was going to upload some more pics today but as my camera batteries have died im gunna head on out to the store to get more and munch! should be on later....

checked your first grow out, very impressed my friend. like your handy work with the tools! and the girls looked amazing too. the afghans are just like mine but bigger and no lst as you have the space! ( i need to expand ) my plans for my next which will be starting soon will be one afghan kush ryder and one vertigo by paradise...
