All I want are some "Fucking Incredible" seeds...

11 on / 13 off that is,,, sry.

The CS treated areas have begun to drop pollen. I collected some sacs and hand pollinated the plants. I will do so again during the next few days as the pollen sacs are ready.
The change in the hairs color and size is within hours. They shrivel and turn reddish/brown in an unmistakable manner. I am expecting feminized seeds in 3 to 6 weeks.
That's just fucking incredible.
Thanks for your support m8.
Best wishes to you too.

Since the beginning of flower, I have had the temps in the grow box at 27 with lights on, and 17 with lights off. That FI plant is beautiful. The temp drop at night has her all purple. Looks very yummy ;) I hope to upload a few pics in the near future.
Just wanted to stop by and say merry xmas to all.

Hey man! Thanks for your opinion here. It's the first time I have ever seen a seed developing inside a bud in my life.
Seems this experiment is going on perfectly!

yip definitely seeds man. you see how the end of the hairs look dry and shrivelled and really thin? thats the first sign that it is forming a seed. sometimes the hairs even "pull in" to the calyx as it swells.
lookin good and that looks like a good parent plant, nice and frosty.

oh ya and dont harvest the seeds too early, they might look ready but just let them go till they fall off or come off really easy with your fingers!

good luck Sativus

Thanks a lot man. I was concerned about how some of the hairs have not "pulled in", and in fact, you can see in that pic that the 2 hairs are actually sticking out of the seed which is partially exposed. But your suggestion that, only sometimes that is the situation, makes me feel better about that. I assume they will dry out and fall off in the coming days or weeks leaving just the seed in its pod ripening. I am expecting the seeds to be ready roughly 4 - 6 weeks after pollination occurred. I am thinking that at that 6 week point, I will cut and dry the buds just as I would anyways. When they are dry, I will collect the seeds. But I am very new to this and completely open to suggestions.

Im just starting some new gear up myself, aliendawg f3's, g13/haze bx1, ultimatechem2011 (chemdXuc08 ) and a few choice keepers from the last little bit. Here's hoping u find something special in ur project, and keep on testing man.. Sb5101 FTW.

sorry for the HUGE ASS pics.

from an unknown strain.

from the FI strain.

Each plant can use another 2 weeks or so, but it is clear that the CS worked as planned.
I will test these seeds (which should be considered still premature) in 2 weeks to see if any are viable, although I do not have high expectations of germination with these seeds (which resulted from me cracking and snipping the smallest most unlikely to be bearing seeds tops to smoke). I was surprised to get so many seeds from that one small nug that I thought may not be seeded at all.
Suffice to say that I was pleasantly surprised.

edit. the nanners you see are not signs of hermied buds, they are from my hand pollination method which i used tweezers to hold the pollen sacs above buds and tapped to pollinate. someties a nanner or two fell off the sac onto the bud..

Worked indeed. Perfectly I might add. Seeds are finished and everything went exactly as planned.

:D its great that you've gotten your hands into the world of breeding.... i've been doing it for a couple years, when you start making and stabalizing your own strain, it feels amazing to knnow what you can do.

Quick Tip: Wait longer than normal to harvest your seeds. wait until they "shake in their pods" so to speak. when the plant drops a seed on its own, the Seeds are the strongest they can be. this ensures seed strength :D

good luck on the next grow with those new seeds youve got jw did the left over bud serve a purpose along with fan leaves?? did you possibly make some killer hash?? and if you possibly did would you possibly have pics?

this breeding stuff is kinda inspireing me to grow some plants again! :bongsmilie:

best of luck in the future!

Seeds are funny. You can have 5 seeds on a bud that are ready and 1 that is not.
Indeed if I had waited another 2 weeks or so, I would have fewer paler lighter looking seeds, but the majority were ready so I called it time.

As for the other plant matter, no I didn't make hash. There just wasn't enough to warrant it.
Instead I just smoked the buds after I de-seeded them. Smoked great and gave a nice buzz just the same.

I am building a screen now for my scrog and will be testing these seeds in the near future. I am almost ready to upgrade my lights to a true HO setup,
but I still think I can achieve an even better watt per gram harvest than last time if I use these lights as efficiently as possible. And that would be with a scrog.
I'll see how that goes before I decide to change up though, cause if I can pull enough off the scrog to make it worth it, I may just keep that box rollin while I get box 2 up and running. I dunno, we will see.

Anyways, the CS works. 25ppm was what I made and used. Simple to make, simple to use, works exactly like expected. Everybody should do this.
I made about 100 seeds or so off the FI plant, and it was a small plant. The seed bank wants $140 for 10 non-feminized FI seeds. By my math, that's $1400+ worth of seeds I got off that TINY plant. These guys are ripping us off big time. From now on, if I buy a strain of genetics, I am buying the genetics for life. Never pay for the same strain twice is my new motto.

Funny note:
No sense in a kid selling marijuana itself for cash, as selling seeds (if they had buyers) is legal, and WAY more profitable.

Thank you all for wishing me luck and for watching. Especially you post # 2....

Just thought I would let you all in. I am on Blue Domina grow #2 which is also a seed run which is being scrogged.
I just entered my 5th week of flower and the pollen sacs are close to releasing pollen. I will take a few pics later
this evening to show the screen and my new box and lighting setup. Things are going very nicely atm.

See you then ;)

Now things are looking good.

Something to note about the CS. I tested both batches on opposite sides of the box. One top each near the air inlet side, and one top each near the exhaust fan. The two near the air inlet holes look exactly as I expected. Sacs are everywhere and no pistils are present. But on the two near the exhaust fan, hairs have formed as well as sacs.
It's interesting that the position of the tops had the same effect on each batch of CS. Had I only used CS near the exhaust fan, I would have assumed that there was a issue with the CS and never considered the idea that the location inside the box played a role. I am assuming that near the exhaust fan was turbulent and either hotter or colder than near the inlet holes. I can't see any other differences in the way they were treated. Interesting none the less...

Here are the two near the inlet holes that are as expected.

Here are the two that were near the exhaust have hairs also.

Here is a pic of normal flowering tops.

Also, I was down there wondering about trimming my scrog.
I have heard every side and I have seen every side. I have come to the conclusion that the only real way to know for sure what works for me is to try it and find out.
I have two plants in scrog so I decided to do a decent trim of fan leaves on one of them (the one with the hairs on the CS treated tops). Now I will have one trimmed and one not and I will be able to judge for myself. I trimmed no branches, but took a fair amount of leaves. Pretty much anything bigger than a playing card. Nothing with any trics on it.
Here is a pic of after. I feel like I took a lot, but there is still a lot there, so I think it will be good...

Note. The location inside the box has had no noticable effect on any of the normal flowering tops. Only the CS treated ones...

Here is a pic of one of the trimmed tops that was treated with CS. What do you think... Did I take too much? I feel like I should of done that two weeks ago...

Well that's it for now... Any comments would be much appreciated.

Best Wishes.
