But prominent and beloved weather professionals are getting kicked out of their positions for insisting on talking about climate change on the air.

Often, it's what you don't see.
Please give 5 examples of “prominent and beloved weather professionals” getting sacked for talking about climate change.

I’ve noticed with regard to conspiracies, often, only you see them.

Who benefits from these tensions? Those who make money from war.

Funny how those very people are the same ones who pay huge sums into the campaign war chests of the politicians who will reliably push for war.

We should NOT be trying to start wars with Russia or China and in fact it costs Americans plenty. But we are not a democracy and so those who profit and feed the SuperPACs get their way, the rest of us and even the future of humanity be damned.
You still not going to list the seven countries the US went to war with since 9/11? We tend to back up our assertions here in Political, otherwise people would throw out "information" as if it is true and there is no way to refute it as, well, we do not have any facts to pick apart. It is usually the trolls that do not bother, they tend to disappear over time as we then just ignore them. Why toss the ball to the other kid if they do not toss it back?

Uh, it takes two to tango, seems that Russia and China (Iran, North Korea, Syria) are the bad actors and without the US we would all be comrades in arms.

The amazing bit is that Assange and Snowden were and are crucified for bringing this to the Americans citizens attention.
The American population jumped on shooting the messenger and the publisher.

Snowden should get a medal and Assange treated like royalty in a country that pretends to love Freedom.
I argued long and hard back in the day that Assange and Snowden were heroes and either journalists (Assange) or legitimate whistleblowers (Snowden) and I got screamed at (before TOS changes) that they're spies and criminals and that I was somehow unAmerican for dissenting. The propaganda narrative had sunk all the way in to the brainstem and even defining what journalism is was ineffective as rebuttal.

Years later, even the NYT, important rag that it is, has come around to realizing that if the US government is allowed to jail Assange then the First Amendment, nevermind the rest of the Constitution, is a dead letter.

America is a Fascist State. The more people recognize this basic fact, the more power We the People will have to do something about it.

Back in the Operation Mockingbird days spooks manipulated the mainstream media. Today spooks are the mainstream media.
I wrote an email to RT complimenting their international affairs coverage and pointing out that only RT had former State Department officials as guest commentators, while the rest of the mainstream media had only former CIA chiefs in the same role.

They read it on the air! And thanked me for pointing it out. Small wonder they were chased off cable and out of the American market; they had a disturbing habit of telling the unvarnished truth.
