AN or Humbolt Nutrients?

I have never once said AN is a "great" nute line, The fact that you are a soil grower debating synthetic nutes designed for hydro says everything I don't need to say. Grow hydro and then debate with me. A decent soil and Jack's is all you need, supplementing
Jack's with Dynagro in soil is the very definition of "I'm lost and have no fucking clue." I'm not trying to be a dick but synthetic nutes are not meant for soil, they are meant for a sterile hydro grow, if you use AN or Dynagro in soil you are "a dumb newbie".
you are right brother, Jack's and Dynagro are equal, I'm with ya.
That was a quick turn around.

Heh no offense to anyone, but I think everyone would rather be a teen than be forty.
Younger > Older, no matter how you see it. I hate getting old, dying is easy, its wondering when you'll die that's hard.

On topic though.
AN > Humbolt for Coco/Hydro
Dyna = Poop in my opinion
Jacks All 20 = PERFECT for anything BUT DWC.
Humbolt makes a mighty fine additive

That's all I got, I only grew fruits/veggies though, I'm on my first Cannabis grow now.

This thread is not going anywhere sadly though, hes asking for side by side comparison pictures, most people on here don't have time for experiments.

Heres my take on what I'd purchase from these companies

AN - Big Bud, Overdrive, Final Phase, B-52, Voodoo Juice, & Rhino Skin (All for non organic of course, AN does make a organic line though.)
Jacks - Jacks All Purpose 20-20-20 Plant Food (Only thing you'll need ever really)
Humbolt - Gravity, Snow Storm, Purple Maxx, Snow Storm Ultra (All 3 combined in one bottle)
Dynagro - None (Personal opinion)
Fox Farms if you're growing in their Ocean Forest, I swear I saw a close friend do a grow with their 3 part nutrients and their soil and his plants never had a single problem. They were beautiful green the entire grow.

Yeah, would love to be a prepubescent teen like brodie again, But like golf, you get one shot. Curios why you would say DG is poop, but then again, we all know how well poop works in our gardens.

Yup, at least the older you get, the more you can piss off people and get away with it.

"GET OFF MY LAWN YA DAM HOOLIGANS!!! ARRRRGGHH"....
"Sir, you are on my lawn"

I say Dyna = poop because my friend uses it and he grows shit plants, he is the reason I started growing, to show him how easy it is. Sure it's probably his fault for sucking so bad at growing, but I'll use dyna as an excuse.

I used FF Grow and Tiger Bloom and my two humongous plants were green and healthy throughout the whole grow. They were grown outdoors btw. I've been private messaging people on here and they recommended me to use Jack's Classic or compost tea, since I am growing in soil. Dyna-Gro is better for a hydroponic system, according to many people in here, but HB and Chuck told me to use Dyna-Gro's Foliage Pro.

Don't take that recommendation lightly.
I have been told by almost every cannabis farmer I know to use Jacks Classic, and I guarantee you, you will be happy.
I started anywhere from 300-700PPM of Jacks and no nute burn on 1 week old seedling, it is VERY hard to burn using jacks.
Only if you constantly overfeed so much, that nutrients are stuck in the medium and you need to flush it out.

I like AN myself, I feel like I get what I pay for. A 1 liter bottle goes a long way for me and grows great plants. I use Sensi A & B, Big Bud, Mother Earth, Nirvana, Bud Candy, B-52, and Voodoo Juice on all my plants.
and i bet you have beautiful plants too bro...u know what to use from advanced with your own skill set to get the best from your strains...

I would say more that they made available a product conducive to the PH-=Perfect line and customer demand. I asked some Guru one time how much silicate is actually needed in inert grow formulas that would equal that supplied by a typical soil. I forgot how much it was but it was VERY small. So maybe the small amount supplied with Rhino is adequate to realize the benefits. But just like AN, lets put a big price tag on it!! IMO Dyna also is taking advantage if you think about it: who needs that much silicate (1/4 tsp/gal). It's overkill. Are they taking advantage too? Magpro WTF? I can go on. All these companies are out for the buck so why stigmatize just AN. rant rant rant

What it should be marketed for is as is a PH-UP , such as how HB uses it. I use it too in veg with F-Pro as that. Marketing. Marketing.
and hes right. you know most companies will try to have you use the maximum possible to sell more nutes. Its a business, everything is a business. just like a casino is not in business for you to win lol....you would do it to or you wouldn't have a business and employees lol...

I have a rotation in my foliar deliveries during the week that include compost tea, heavy 16 foliar, a saturating agent (I like dutch master saturator) and xtreme gardening calcarb to stimulate my stomata for increased respiration and co2 uptake. again, depending on what my plant tells me dictates what I intend to use. And one I like most of all is the purple maxx from Humboldt county's own...I use it specifically in bloom and only during a "window of opportunity" as I call it lol...but it is good stuff when used properly.

What's my beef? You can not give me one single logical reason why any synthetic nute will preform better than Jack's or even Miracle grow in a even remotely close to complete soil. Do synthetics work? Sure, they obviously should, endorsing synthetic nutes with a prepared soil spells salesman to me, not needed
I think you're getting off on a tangent there.

Call it a tangent, it doesn't bother me, the simple fact remains, if you buy expensive synthetic nutes(AN, Dynagro, GH, etc) to grow in soil you are dumb. Any basic soil with a dash of lime and fed with Jack's or even miracle grow is all you need. Hydro nutes are meant for hydro, do they work in soil? Of course they do. Does that make them a good choice? No. You know that

synthetic nutes can be used in soil with great results but since soil is already dirty you are paying a preimum for highly cleaned refined materials. synthetic does not mean can't be used in soil. There's alot of bad info on these forums from these welfare growers that have a fixed income and are forced to shit in a pot for the compost materials. Don't let them convince you all you need to do is piss on your plants cause that shit doesn't work and they want you to fail.

Of course expensive store bought synthetic nutes work in soil, but Jack's does the exact same thing and you don't pay for water. Better yet brew teas and have killer organic bud.

That's a fair informantive statement I can respect, goes alot farther in people's mind than that the previous statement of "dumb newbs".
