that is what i have been reading about the rdwc is if one has a problem then the others will too. as for as the plumbing goes, that's a piece of cake. i'm a do it yoursefler, i always have been. i found some good stuff on a drip system today, looked pretty interesting. have also been trying to read and understand the lucas style, i'm sure i'll have to read it a few more times before it sinks in. as stated i found a humidifier, and i would put it in the shed not the box. i did set the bucket of hot water in the box, but it only raised the humidity about 2% maybe 3% for the whole shed. plus it will let the chlorine evap so i can use it to water. i'm lucky to have good running water. i know for hydro i would have to do something different.

rdwc is nice but more expensive. Unless your a kickass plumber your better off buying a system which will cost you a pretty penny. Also if one of your plants have a root issue or an issue at all theyll all get it, like if a hose comes off and you dont check on it in two days you got nothin left. And as far as meters go theres only one way and one word. Truncheon. Dont think twice, trust me, buy once, not twice, buy a truncheon. Their the most expensive but the warrenty is worth it and you never need to recalibrate them.

a humidifier will work but make sure its not directly on the plants to avoid potential powdery mildew problems. And giggy, its not a must do, thats what is perfect conditions. They grow in all sorts of humidities just fine though.

been dealing with cold temps again. the way the light is setup now the heat is getting pulled out. i started using my weaker fan inside the box, it is pointed so it goes by the lights and out to the exhaust fan. temps are running what ever the shed is. after i put the bucket of hot water in the box it got warmer in the box for a bit. the kush has gotten most of the air flow so i have to start rotating them each day till the temps come back up. also the battery got low so i lost the flash. i do have 4 sour diesel seedlings. got them under the 23 watt flood and the two led floods. i'm going to veg them for a bit, maybe till spring. was thinking about trying mainlining, but i may try that on some bag seed till i master it.

kush, she's not liking the cooler temp when the fan is hitting her.

Have you tried shutting off your exhaust fan and just running your circulation fan?

i would be better to turn the cir fan/fans off. the 42 and 55 watt lights get hot. the temp in the shed this morning was 75º, so both cir fans are on, i turned the heater down a bit. when i get home i hope to be between 80º and 85º.

well the temps are back down for a couple days. i just put the second coffee bucket of hot water inside the box. trying to bring the humidity up a little. i'm lucky in that the three females are running within 3/4" of each other in height, hope they stay that way. the pink has a leaf that is curled, but it is the one that was in front of the cir fan, other wise looks great. the kush has alot more curled leaves, and i thought it was from setting in front of a fan too, it was the one that got the cold air right on it. it has been set where the air just barely hits it and it still has curled leaves. i'm gonna watch it. the special couldn't look any better. i know when i feed i gave them some molasses and a very small amount of food, no way to have over feed. kush may just miss the next feeding just to be on the safe side.

it was 60º this morning in the shed. the high outside today 29º. temp in shed and box is 72º. tomorrow back in the 40's, so i hope the temp can get back up around 80º or so. i hoped to wait till tomorrow to water, but they needed it, so i had to today. one thing about it, after my last indoor grow, i have learned to have patience. but i got to figure this so called kush out. no matter what i do the leaves stay curled. maybe when the temps come back up it will change, i hope.

i didn't take no pics of the snow. sure glad i wasn't down further south, snow shut everything down. thought about posting a pic of the 4 sour diesels, but they are just starting their first leaves. got them under a 26 watt warn white cfl, and two leds that are warm white, we will say 20 watt each. i had to move them to where they are under the leds, the two that were in the middle kept leaning towards the leds. was going to throw some 5000k cfls at them, but i don't think it would do any good. i got them running around 18/6 or so. it is more like when i remember to turn the light on or off.

Damn, you sound like me, LOL.
If I stay up till 4 or 5 in the morning, I'm too lazy to get up at 7 when the alarm goes off to swap the plants from light to dark, so they might not get moved until 10 or 11 or whenever I decide to get up.
Changing the time from 7 to 7 to something like 10 to 10 would be too easy, LOL.

these are in my closet so they are staying warm. the other ones are in flower, so they are 12/12. the temps are coming back up today to the 40's, this morning it was 7º outside and 52º inside the shed.

Shit man, id just run the lights 24/7 to keep temps up. No sleep for wicked plants.

the bad part is i am used to cutting the lights off when i close the closet door, and i did too. turn the lights back on about 10:00 pm and left them on.

three girls out together. i spoke too soon about them being within 3/4", the last cold snap the kush didn't want to do anything. left to right, pink, special, and kush. had to cut two shade leaves off the special to uncover the small flowers they where hiding. kush is starting to look abit better, the box was 87º when i got home today, forgot to back the heater down. kush is about 8" from the dirt and the other are 10" or better. i really figured they would stretch, but they haven't much.

as long as we run our normal weather pattern, i can keep her warm. but let it go down some and she starts curling the leaves, hell there are two on her i don't think will ever flatten out again. i know the shed wasn't the best place to grow in, but it is better then nothing.
