Agreed, fuck those commercial money grabbing dirt-bags. I'll continue to grow my own thanks, but I never signed up on any of the man's programs, on purpose. I could have but thought I'd be on some government list and I've never trusted "the man" so I stayed under the radar. Glad I did now, poor bastards that signed up for the previous programs are now targets and regardless of how this plays out, they'll be "flagged" on some list forever. I'll never sign up for any program until it becomes fully legalized, at which point I won't have to and if they come out with a rule to register your personal grow-op, I still won't sign up. What if they legalize it, then the next conservative government makes it illegal? Grow your own, stay quiet about it, stay under the radar, do your own thing, and most important, don't conform! I'm so glad I grew up in the hippy era and maintained those values. I moved on of course but some of those hippy values stuck and should be spread around to future generations, my son is one of those, he doesn't conform to anyone's values but his own, lives and lets live, and enjoys the ganj, nothing wrong with that...

Well if we all accept all the crooked things the gov does then we might as well shut the fuck up and be salves. People are speaking out and being negative because the gov let the first system get broken/corrupt then they introduce a new system that is even more broken/crooked BUT now its designed for commercial entities to make money off.

Far from stuck in the 70's "dude", I have a degree in Computer Sciences and Psychology, a business in internet security, kids, grandkids, and I've been living with cancer for 5 years, thanks to treating myself with gang it's under control, for me and some patients I know who I provide this wonderful plant pro-bono. You on the other hand must be somehow invested in the MMPR program my friend. To defend a program that takes rights away from patients, offers almost no choices to them, forces them to pay through the nose so a few large commercial producers, in bed with the Harper government and in it only for profit, I'd say you're either invested or stupid. Go ahead and invest and conform to the latest scraps thrown at patients by that control freak Harper, the way things are going that program is pretty well dead before it ever got off the ground. Peace Man...

ya well times are changing and most of us want to help patients, but also want to get into the market. just cause some cant, don't mean its wrong! in time like the usa if we go legal imo it will be rec prices and worse off for patients and the world runs on $$
so then what you going to do???? I hope your all allowed to grow your own! or itll be a prescription thing you all will have to deal with, like pills in the real world.

It's definitely wrong if your business is based on a program that is broken the second it was written down on paper. Maybe if they let patients make their OWN choices instead of trying to force our hand I'd agree. But as it stands, sorry I do not agree with you. Also let's look at Colorado as an example as they are legal. The medical market is actually still CHEAPER and it's taxed LESS than the recreational market. And this is in clubs that cater to both markets. So I hate to say it, but you are misinformed.

Well that's about the worst argument you could use, yeah, let's model a medical marijuana system based on the corrupt and money grabbing pharma industry, that'll work well... For the government and LP's maybe. The point which you are not getting and I'm probably wasting space here: The new system does nothing to improve availability for patients, particularly those that cannot afford $250-$300/oz., does not incorporate/allow for multiple forms of meds, and takes away the freedom to grow your own meds.

Don't come on here trying to claim you want to help patients when you know nothing about being a patient, many of us in here are patients, know patients first hand and understand their frustration with a government and related departments like HC that are trying to simply push a program through for political and monetary gain, nothing else. it's obvious and documented (in their own words) that HC has no interest in this or any other program working to improve accessibility for patients. So fuck off with your "ya well times are changing and most of us want to help patients", you have no interest in helping patients if you support this broken system... Do you think we're all pots heads or something? Please... go get a real job and contribute to society...
