A little too close to x-mas this year, its a bitch to go and see everything you want to buy and not be able to afford anything. Probably not going to go this year, however if i do go im going to take my kids again, you should see the looks we get. LoL.

Honestly the only thing i object to my kids seeing is the chicks in there super slutty clothing (you know the ones the companies pay to be there), everything else there is so mundane in my lifestyle that I really don't worry about what they see. If people were smoking there it would of course be different, but since it is at the convention center they can't do anything like that. I figure i am not corrupting them by taking them, just makes daddy time family time, something i have to struggle everyday to try to accomplish.

Although we don't really agree with the spin they put on it we will go.

Medical is one thing, but shoving in the public's face that the "medical use" is more of a facade to recreational use is a whole different message. I think the press generated from these conventions are detrimental to the ultimate cause.

I'm completely with you SoCoMMJ. just found out we got tix to an MMC event (I assume you did as well?), so we have to go. not sure what it is yet, but should be interesting and hopefully informative. (of course I don't have the travel that you do, so not as big of a deal)

I seriously just had this conversation with the wife and we want to go so bad! I'm disabled and broke...even though it would only be a couple of bills for us to go. Looks awesome, so sad we can't go. =( I really wanted to see Flobots and Mix Master Mike plus see the lucky bastard who wins that growbot. ::Sigh:: ...oh well, maybe next year. =)

I went to the cannabis festiva @ Dick's sporting goods park this last summer. Spent $50 to get 2 tickets online because I thought it would be crowded. Got there and the place was empty. Hopefully this event will be better.
Any body know where to get tickets to Kushcon II?

Plowbo-, are you in Denver? There is a head shop on S santa Fe called "karmedecine" that has tickets. 15$ but u need a red card. They are still for sale online for 20$ at the kushcon website. Im goin tomorrow, hope to see ya there!
