Anyone here ride reason I ask is wondering what pipe combo do u like on ur bike

Switching out from stock pipe setup on Yz 250 it's dented up and just ugly just got the bike
anyone here have a Yz 250 what pipe u running

idk know about your yammi exactly but I run the FMF knarly its a mid range pipe.Its a great pipe,well made and a nice fit.Not to mention it compliments my motor package.This is my ride

i personally dont but my cousin is best friend with jeremy "twitch" stenberg, ive also had interesting conversations with travis pastrana and jeremy mcgrath at hangtown in cali. quite a few other known riders also but no reason to mention, riding runs in my family i just rode in a few years

Oh yeah , I raced MX back in the 90s .. The bikes weren't as nice as today but they were fun no matter .. I had a Yz490 but I stuck to the 250 class .. My pipe combos were mostly FMF depending on if I was riding trails or strictly track .. Best to keep a Spark arrester on it if you intend to ride anywhere off the track ...

Will be a track bike kinda of a hold me over till I get my new bike from showroom floor and ya thinking the fmf fatty also

Yep met a lot of the pros I live like 45 mins from hangtown track ,I've Ben on a bike since 5 years old then 10 years ago broke my hip in 3 places so just getting back into riding

thats a pretty dumb comment.Were you so busy being rude you missed the part of the dented up pipe? Do have any idea how much a stock pipe cost for a Yammi?

Not mention some one tried to weld a patch on the pipe

Thanks for the input and I can ride Ime not a newb and most well a lot of people can't ride them to there full limit lets c a video of u riding a 250 to its full potential

hey that happens,as long as there are no leaks,she's a runner. I'm a "run watcha brung" kinda guy.When you replace your pipe take a good look at your piston and inspect for cracks.If you can't see through there,remove your reeds and have a looksee.Make sure there are no cracks in your piston.

Puting a new top end in all new fluids it's tore down right now going thru it all before I ride it I only paid 500 bucks for it

i've read my post and looked really hard, rude ? where, the op could get the dent blown out for next to nothing at any decent mx shop, i was commenting on the fact that aftermarket pipes can fuck everything up, sorry if i offended you

i couldn't ride a 125 to its limits, mearly saying some people mess with um and fuck um up
