Anyone know about medical marijuana rights?

Months ago I got pulled over on suspension of driving under the influence of weed. I was pulled over because I made eye contact with the officers passing by. They turned their car around and came after me and stopped me and asked if I had been smoking. I told them I had actually quit four days ago (I had no idea how to handle the situation) and they asked me to step out to do a sobriety test but I refused to so they took a blood sample and arrested me..

But they took my medical marijuana recommendation and I had to go to court five times to fight the case. My blood tested positive for weed so they had to do another test to see if it was active. The judge finally discharged my case, does anyone know if I can sue the officers for taking my recommendation and all the trouble they put me through?

Once you refuse a test here you lose your license for a year or some shit like that.
I doubt you will get far with this.

Admission to guilt will get you every time. Try not being so nice next time. Am I being detained? Do you suspect me of committing a crime? Am I free to go?
I didn't admit I was guilty but I also didn't say any of that..I've watched/read some stuff and there are much less offensive ways to go about it..

Just go get a copy of your recommendation unless you want to play with the cops again. In which case call them on Monday and ask where you can pick up your recommendation. I'd just go get another copy but hey what do I know.

You did admit to it, you said you quit a four days ago. Nothing is offensive about what I posted. If you're an american then it's your right to ask those questions. If you want to let the cops steamroll you then be my guest. I record them.

they are cops doing the job .......u can not do shit they are protected (as cops they have the right to pull over for any reason they see fit ....a phish/dead bear sticker can count for this ....it is their jobs they have been empowered by the state and paid for the time )

u can file a civil complaint with the police dept ....the cops will then have it in the jackets once a review has gone tho (if they broke the rules and get punished for it then u can bring a civil case to regain lost money) but the complaint is permit in the jacket of the cops no matter what the outcome ....this can mean promotions or not .......so doing this does fuck them ....if the patterns repeats over time they are dismissed from the force u can go after him personally

but as it stands he/she has the state backing them .........u have to prove wrong doing on the cops behave

as for refusing to do the field test .......yes that is a reason to arrest u ....by not refusing the blood test that saved u from a summary judgement............but the refusal onsite .....the state will back him and the case will not go anywhere it will cost u more money

It is offensive and you're offensive to me for trying to teach me something that I didn't asked about, sending the message that you are more competent, educated and superior, so that you could one-up me. And at the same time one-downing me by saying I let cops steamroll me. :wall:

Say whatever it takes to make yourself feel better. I gave you sound advice for next time. Perhaps I am more competent, educated and superior, your words not mine.

You see I know my rights and I know when they're out of bounds. I'm a motherfucker to deal with and they know it. Guess what, they leave me the hell alone.

I want to be a motherfucker to deal with too especially after my experience, but I've seen videos of what you're talking about and the reactions of cops and how they piss them off and I think it's way better go about it more appropriately like this:
I mean this guy is a criminal defense lawyer from a higher social racial and economic class than those guys you see on youtube

here for everyone
http://norml.org/pdf_files/freedom_card.pdf

this is your best option when u know u are going to jail .........if u are riding dirty / if your stoned off your ass (know u will fail the test) ....what ever this is your best choice

this is the pdf file ment to be printed so some of it is upside down ....but it tells u your rights tells the officer u know them and u are not speaking any further with out a lawyer involved

here is a better webpage info

I was pulled over because I made eye contact with the officers passing by. Illegal stop

They turned their car around and came after me and stopped me and asked if I had been smoking. "I consent to nothing and will make no statements without my attorney."

This is why I volunteer my time to a boxing gym training kids. Sure I teach the jab, straight and left hook etc but the main lesson, and one I drill into them is to never fear other people and if they are going to go down, go down fighting. I drill into them over and over, unless you're going to die immediately, don't let fear dictate anything in your fight or life in general.

I know this is getting long winded but fuck man, this shit pisses me off and the OP should probably join my group of kids, he could use it. He busted himself. If there is one lesson I could give everyone, it's don't live your life like a bitch and let others intimidate you into jack shit.

I'm not trying to knock anyone but fuck ... it's just frustrating to me when people let fear get them in trouble. I've been in far worse situations (swat raid for one) and just told them to fuck off with the talk and arrest me if they are going to arrest me and I'm a mild mannered dude that wears loafers, slacks and dress shirt everyday. I just don't fear other humans because I put the work in learning not to be a bitch.
