This is total BS I have had a recent hermie and my perpetual grow was not affected at all.
It was only a partial with only a few seeds in a couple zips but Im just saying getting a little
hermie is not the end of the world nor the end of your crop. Not that anyone is trying to get
hermies LOL
Holmes are you calling me a liar?

So you had a plant that hermed and didn't affect your crop so you think hermie plants don't have the potential to RUIN an entire crop?

Like I said 3 plants close to it were absolutely riddled with seeds and the rest of my room had some seeds in most of the plants. It depends on the plant and how many nanners it throws out. If you have a well ventilated room that pollen will get into all the plants. There are plenty of documented grows that have been ruined by a single hermie plant.

Just out of curiousity what was the plant that hermed on you.

I think it mainly depends on when it herms and when you catch it. The experiences I have had with herms have almost entirely been with genetic herms, that produce pollen sacks from the onset of flowering, so I can usually catch them before it gets around too much.

Hey guys,
So ya I just placed my order actually. I am gonna make another one in a couple of weeks, once the new promo hits up on the Attitude Seed Bank. So I decided to order just 5 seeds of God Bud and I got the c99 from Female seeds. So I stuck within my price range of 150, checked out about 123 after shipping. I got some freebies, they were g13 lavender and blue og. The other freebie was a CH9's "Jack Strain". I have heard iffy things from Bodhi seeds, but normally what I go off of is word of mouth opposed to the internet. Just because being a medical patient, it is good to actually here the effects of the various strains. Purple God seems to have pretty stable genetics, just two phenotypes, and idk, I really wanted to try a good Grapefruit cross without shelling out huge $$$, thus why I went with FS version( I will keep my fingers crossed).
I never got around to picking out a cheese strain, besides there being so many, I couldn't narrow down which cheese I wanted. So my next question is relating to this strain, I heard that exodeous cheese is exception though I do not know which breeder to choose from. The other cheese I thought about is getting either Big Buddha's Blue Cheese, or getting Barney's Farms Blue Cheese. The blue cheeses interest me most because they are crossed with a blueberry( it being good for a pain reliever and night time smoke). But I have heard of hermie issues with BF version lately, so I don't know. Insights?
As for Maui Wowi, I have seen it spelled Maui Waui ( Hawaiian spelling of the strain), I have seen some crosses of Maui Waui parents, but never the actual mother itself. Though I have seen Kona Gold and some original Puna strains that could easily date back 150 or more years. Pretty fascinating when ya think about it. I wish I could grow outside more often, but my new living situation has too much foot traffic (trade off for living close to the beach and surf :D). So thus why I am looking for more indica leaning hybrids or an indica hybrid that is resistant to mold. My relative humidity is usually 70% +, and I have to battle mould constantly. Shoots braddahs, give me your insight!
Although I am not a cheese fan as I do not like skunk anything strains if actually possible to avoid, I have seen so many rave reviews about Homegrown Fantaseeds Chees strain that I would have to say it would probably please you...hope it helps

OK bro have fun with the hermie factory your room is gonna become. Haha jk:)

Seriously man you really need to be watching for bananas cause if one of those feminized beans herms your whole room will be seeded. Hope you have experience and can identify nanners if they pop up. One of my female seeds C99's ruined itself and 3 other plants cause it was in the back of the room and I didn't catch it in time.

You have been warned.
dude how is it you do not realize that your experience with 3 seeds from one grow is a testament to something wrong with your enviroment and not the genetics...I can not even tell you how many I and many close fellow grower friends of mine have grown out and no herms...also I have grown original bros grimm c99 beans and still have 10 viable left and it is the same strain just chemically femm'ed using sts which does NOT pass on any herm gene as none is there? And one cannot even begin to know ANY strain ion only 3 plants...to suggest such is utter poppycock...jus sayin

I've grown out 3 different female seeds c99 and I will tell you right now it is straight up garbage. Not only does it not compare at all to c99 I've grown in the past, but it is also hermie prone.

The Dinafem seeds that I've grown out have been just very average ok strains, nothing special at all, but if you are not a head you'll probably think they're good. They are consistent and some will yield well. You might like them actually based on your preferences. Blue Widow was actually a fast flowering very nice yielding decent smelling strain. My boy still has a cut of it cause he liked it a lot. I'm a pot snob though so for me it's just not good enough.

Dinafem puts out some excellent stuff.Moby Dick is not for the inexperienced smokers. This plant will have your friends thinking its laced.I am just sayin there is some good.

Cannaventure used a Trainwreck BX2 male from Head Seeds. Those guys have some tasty gear for sure. Big Buddha Cheese was not bad there were no hermies from them and they tasted decent, but no keepers for me. Greenhouse actually has a pretty damn tasty cheese if you get their exodus, not their regular cheese. These are supposedly S1's of the clone. I've never tried the real deal but some of my peeps have and they said it tastes exactly the same. They smell freaking fantastic. My main issue with the cheese and cheese hybrids is the low yield and the bitch they all are to trim. So many damn leaves to trim for such a small amount of nuggies. Their trainwreck is pretty damn good too I was real surprised. And the Lemon Skunk. All 3 of those have the funk. And to be honest don't like greenhouse at all and in general don't recommend them, but they did a nice job on those 3.
lol...next you will be saying TGA is top notch...yeah ok...go make your money...we'll grow good weed without making it herm

i have a friend that swears by the greenhouse cheese, i have the same opinion of greenhouse, but, he also grew out some great white and that shit is dank, but then again anything he grows comes out dank. theres always some winners, even in shitty gene pools. not worth looking for though imo.

How long you been growing yo? I been growing for 8 years I think I know what the fuck I'm doing. If it was my environment then why was the C99 the only plant that hermied? Why didn't any of the other 30 or so plants in my flower room hermie? Why have I not had a plant hermie on me since? Why is it there are many many many many, MANY reports online about people getting hermies from Female Seeds? I'm not saying you can't find a good plant in there. I'm saying I didn't find a good plant in there. I found garbage. Now lots of people might consider it great herb. I have higher standards than that.

Yeah the funny part is, you think Female Seeds C99 is good herb. I don't know where you think I'm all commercial and all about the money. If that was the case I'd just grow some critical mass or some shit. I'm looking for the dank. The dankest herb around. I been through HUNDREDS of plants just this past year to find my keepers. Now I don't know how many strains you've grown out, but I gotta assume it's not a whole lot if you're thinking this stuff is your keeper level weed. Maybe for some newbie it's gonna be god's gift from the heavens above. But I have some real dank strains to be comparing anything that comes in my garden to. I have the ECSD cut, I have the ChemD cut, I have the Pre 98 Bubba cut. All of them are keeper level plants. I need plants that are gonna be on that level in my garden or they are gonna get the boot. What's in your garden homie?

My recommendations for Greenhouse were for the OP, who mentioned they wanted some cheese or a cheese hybrid. My experience with cheese is GHS Exodus, Big Buddha Blue Cheese, and Grindhouse Ultra Sonja. Greenhouse's cheese was the best of the 3, so I have no problem recommending it to the OP, or anyone reading this thread. And while I was at it I recommended those other 2 strains because they were pretty decent too for the money. Now if I thought those plants were on the level they would be in my garden right now. They aren't in my garden. But I would take any one of them in a heartbeat over those POS C99 plants.

And I don't have an opinion on Subcool. I have not grown any of his strains.

I think subs stuff is good.Never had a herm. The best I have grow is Jack the Ripper.I think if you want true genetics without knowing a good private breeder I would suggest.....Mandala,shantibaba,Gage green,DJ short, rare dankness. Not sayin they are all perfect but damn good.Notice that all sell regular seeds.Mandala has some feminized but all are mostly regs.

Well thanks Mikey on that post for the cheese strains. I am gonna hit up attitude for that 10 free seed promo and wanted to land a good cheese strain. I am currently growing out GHS Lemon Skunk (all sativa phenos) and they are great plants. I know everyone shits on GHS, granted people have their reasons, but I personally would rather learn from trial and error. I guess we will wait and see how my c99's do, I will keep another grow log of them as well. I am about to sprout some freebies: 2 HSO seeds that are #2 Sour Diesel, World of Seeds Northern Lights x Skunk 1, Mazaar x Great White Shark.
In my last order I got some sick freebies, the most I am excited for is G-13's Blue OG.
