Does it worry anyone that attitude retains personal records?I have only purchased seeds in the past from banks that destroy records after they have placed the order.I know everyone receives their orders from attitude, but how long do they retain these records and should we be worried about that?Would be very nice to be able to request that they don't retain your info for future reference!

Good to hear thanks u for the info!I didn't even think about them keeping information (besides their news letter).Until I was reading where they had a problem with fake seeds and read an email they sent out to their customers apologizing for the incident. In the email below you can see where they state that they were going back through their records to rectify the problem.I thought to myself, self how can they go back through their records to reimburse their customers if they already destroyed them like most seed banks do after the sale? Here is the email.

Following our recent correspondence in regards to fake DJ Short Seeds, I can
now regretfully confirm following confirmation from DJ Short himself that
Plantasur, the distributer from whom we purchased the DJ Short Seeds sold on
our side are indeed fake and Plantasur were miss-sold these seeds and in
turn we have to our dismay sold these onto our customers.

The Attitude Seedbank would like to apologize to our customers who
bought these seeds and would like to state that the distributor Plantasur
was unknowingly miss-sold these seeds and furthermore The Attitude was
miss-sold these seeds by Plantasur.

LETS MAKE IT RIGHT, we are currently going through our database
and locating every single customer who purchased DJ Short seeds from us and
at our own cost, The Attitude Seedbank will be replacing these seeds.
We are currently awaiting stock directly from DJ Short and as soon as the
new stock arrives here the replacements will be sent out immediately.

We thoroughly apologize to all of our loyal customers but we do ask for the
opportunity to get this rectified and to make this right. We have always
been assured from Plantasur that these were genuine and only after our own
research and confirmation from DJ Short himself are we glad that we can put
this situation right without delay.

ALL DJ SHORT SEEDS SOLD TO OUR CUSTOMERS WILL BE REPLACED FREE OF CHARGE BY
THE ATTITUDE AS SOON AS WE RECEIVE THE NEW STOCK FROM DJ SHORT. IF YOU
CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS PLEASE EMAIL US AND WE WILL FORWARD YOU A CREDIT OR
SEND YOU AN ALTERNATIVE PRODUCT OF THE SAME PRICE.

Ok I found this on additudes website in the F&Q section under payment options.

We do not hold any records of clients credit/debit card details and all other client information remains highly confidential.

So they do retain your name and shipping adress just not you credit card info?I'm just guessing. What if they get raided and they locate this information.Do you think this would be something to be worried about?

No not really. I mean Marc Emery found himself in those shoes. To my knowledge, the policia never went after anyone of the person(s) that he sold his beaners to..

"Don't retain any credit card info..." Seriously doubt this...I ordered from attitude several times in the last 18 months. My debit card was used by someone in Europe.Do a search and you will see others complaining. The bank caught it with just $30 or so taken...I will order from Attitude again, but I will immediately tell my bank that the card was lost so they can replace it.

i like that they have private records of yure order, it makes it easier for refund or any other complaint.i been ordering from them for yrs, no problem here.but i do use a debit prepaid for seed orders.

i think of all of the ways that a person is going to get busted, attitudes records or database would be wayyy down on the list of reasons that the leo would be knocking at your door..
i know that they do indeed keep records of what you have ordered in the past as you can easily see this by clicking on my account and go to order history.. i just did this about ten minutes ago and right there was my last ten or so orders that i made from them.. does this make me nervous? not in the least.. there are way more important things to be paranoid about in my eyes than this..
my $.oo2 worth..
