I just germinated two regular feminized A-Train seeds and put them in their pots yesterday for a fem seed crop.
After they show themselves I'm going to start a thread. I'll put a link here.

Do only the traits from the plants being pollinated (not the plants being sprayed) come out in the batch of seeds? I noticed this the last three times I have done it in the past.

In my auto crosses the (in my opinion) the shemale low ryder2 was the dominant trait in all the crosses.
I saw 3 different plants with the lr2 x autoberry.

I've been told that when you cross two stable varieties you should end up with
50% a cross
25% tending towards the shemale
25% tending towards the female

That is pretty much exactly what I experienced.

The next fem auto seed crop will be auto Super Lemon Haze x itself, my old crosses, auto pineapple kush, and some auto freebies I have sitting around (cristal etc.)

I'm probably going to start it in late March depending on the weather.

It works, but it is hard to get seeds from the same plant.
The sprayed plant needs about a two week head start over the plants to be pollinated.
You could spray one branch and collect the pollen. You could spray one branch and wait until the balls are just about to open, then cut the branch and put it in water and collect the pollen away from the plants.

so the females are only receptive to pollen in the first few weeks of flower? i thought that weed plants continually ppushed out new pistils throughoiyut flower in an attempt to reproduce!! strange how that works then. anyways ive heard the same thing from a few people now so ill deff be starting the pollen donor a couple weeks early, thanks for the 'heads up' lol

The sprayed plant takes extra time to change. You want to hit the pistils early and the change slows the sprayed plant down.

This is a great thread lets get it going again. I've wanted to do this for a while. Im going to do it with Afghan Kush Ryder, Original Amnesia Auto, Auto Cheese Candy, and Auto Super Cheese. Just one question. I looked up the Tiresias Mist spray on amazon and its only a 1oz bottle. How many plants can I use one bottle on to get balls?

whats up trousers? I've come to pick your brains again.....

I got an autoxtreme that has popped up male sack everywhere after colloidal silver treatment. Some of the sacks have swelled up and some have opened and the yellow bananas are sticking out. BUT when I tap the branch over a black surface, nothing falls down. I heard somewhere briefly that not all the pollen sacks will produce pollen on a hermie, so is that what is happeneing to me? Or will the pollen just miraculously appear oon those bananas if I give them time? Whats your usual success rate with gettin female pollen?

I cut the stems off the plant and put them in a cup so I have removed them from the growroom, so now im just gonna wait and see what happens :-/ Will suck if I don't get anything from her tho! Thanks :leaf:

I dont really understand how it works. Do you need 2 female plants? or Just one? sorry im a little too high but im very very interested in making my own seeds. Im not sure how to do it though.

if you spray one and let it polinate itself then its a copy and feminized
if it crosses with another then it is also feminized

so you only NEED one then right? just spray one branch and it will polinate itself?
You spray the branches and nodes (not the leaves) of the female plant that you want to grow male flowers. The silver ions block some kind of protein receptor and make the females start to grow pollen sacks (all females have the DNA to potentially grow male sacks, in case they are threatened with adverse conditions in the wild, they can still self-pollinate and survive till the next spring). Then the pollen that is collected from these 'female pollen sacks' is 'female pollen'. Which means, its pollen, but only contains female sex chromosomes (X + X), so if you use that to pollinate the hairs on a different female plant ( X +X ), then the only potential sex of the offspring will be female (X + X). On the other hand, if a proper male plant (X + Y) were to pollinate a female plant, the offspring could either be ( X + Y) or (X + X) i.e. male, or female.
